Sorry FNG I didn't get to watch him. I had people over to drink and watch the 4 hour Snyder cut lol

Ha, good choice! I'm a little basketball weary this time of year myself.

Not seeing the draw with Cade Cunningham. He looks like a slightly better version of Amir Coffey when he was with the gophers. I think I'd rather have edwards. Makes me feel better, since we're likely going to lose our pick.

This is a crazy tourney. Coming into today I was tied for dead last in my office pool. I doubt it got too much better except so know at least one person had Illinois winning the championship so she is basically done.
That Davion Mitchell kid from Baylor caught my eye today. Good athlete really defends, has some burst and looks capable on offense as a PG that can defend.

Cade Cunningham has scored 106 points in the clutch this season. No other player has more than 63.

Hot take all these upsets are bad for college basketball. I like 1 Cinderella Story. No Ayo, no cockburn, no Cunningham, no duke, UNC, Kentucky. I don't care for watching Chicago Loyola (I want the gophers to get their head coach) play Oregon St or to watch Houston vs a average at best Syracuse team.
Rooting hard for Gonzaga, Kansas and Iowa tomorrow

Gotta disagree with you on this one.
March Madness remains an event for the masses... most of who don't know signature names. Because it's March Madness... they get famous IN the tournament.
A goofy looking guy like Cameron Krutwig is a great story. We hear about all the top recruits prior to college... in college... in the pros.
Yet the beauty of basketball is NOT one single player. It's a beautiful sport when teams win together. When you have different styles, different players, different storylines other than prized recruit who's simply biding time before he hits the pros.
Give me the Cameron Krutwigs and Max Abmas and Kevin Obanor every time. They don't get much time in the spotlight. So let them enjoy it when they beat the pedigree kids... because I am.
I like underdogs. I like unconventional stories.

Completely fair. I was rooting hard for Oral Robert's today and appreciate Loyola (had money on Illinois) maybe it's the average power 5 conference teams making a run that i don't like.
I'm excited to watch Arkansas vs Oral next week, not so much Loyal vs Oregon St and I think that is because it's Oregon St not Loyal. If the small school has a Goliath to play I enjoy it if it's David vs David or David vs Meh Power 5 school I don't enjoy it as much.
Still been a fun tournament though

Cunningham bows out of the tournament with an Anthony Edwards type finale...24 points, but too many forced shots and 30% shooting. Like Edwards, I still think Cade may end up being a better pro than college player in that he will not have the same defensive attention. But his two poor tournament games aren't going to help him in his quest to be the #1 pick. Mobley and Suggs now get center stage, and they may become the odds on favorites for #1 if they shine. My position though hasn't changed if we are lucky enough to get the first pick. The three stars are so even in my opinion (even after the tournament egg that Cade laid), I make my pick situationally. If we don't somehow acquire a true starting PF like Collins, I draft Mobley to put next to KAT. But if we do, it depends on who leaves in trades. If Ricky goes, I'm definitely looking at Suggs. But if DLO goes, my choice is Cunningham. Gotta win the lottery...I'm excited about all three.

I know he's not THE expert and just one guy, but I heard Kevin O'Connor last week say that Suggs can't really do anything to overtake Cunningham. I think he said it's doubtful for Mobley, but he'd have an outside chance.
