We aren't the Houston Rockets, nor do I want us to be with the unattractive brand of basketball they play.

It seems to me like we have a closed minded GM who only knows how to replicate what he knows and isn't able/willing to adjust to a different environment. Yeah, the rockets style stinks, especially if you're not winning.

We either need to make a trade for a 2nd elite player or we need to trade towns (assuming we could get a big haul from a motivated buyer like Phoenix.

As others have said too, towns will only contend if he's paired with another elite perimeter player. If we can't bring the elite perimeter player here, then our other option should be trading him (for the appropriate value) to another team who also realizes this about towns and has the the elite perimeter player already in place (Phoenix and Atlanta are the two teams that jump out to me here)

Bringing an elite perimeter player here is not going to make us a contender unless you also fix the defense. If you think DLO is that elite perimeter player, trade Andrew for him and see what happens.

I'm not a DLO fan, but if it's DLO in and Wiggins out, I do consider that an overall upgrade to the team. Now you can go put Culver, RoCo, and another defensive type in the rotation (preferably a big) and have a fairly balanced offensive/defensive lineup. But a DLO-Wiggins-KAT trio is too one-sided and Wiggins would inevitably be the third option, whereby he'd revert back to his horrible 2017-18/18-19 seasons.

You're right. That's why if I had to make a decision right now between the two Options it would be to trade towns. Let's face it, we already paired towns with a better perimeter player than Beal and Russell and it didn't work. I want the wolves to be the ones to hit on the next doncic, Morant or porter. Let's trade the whiny one way player for a chance at a couple more lottery tickets.

We had Butler for 1 season and were the 4 seed before he got hurt. We stayed afloat to grab the 8 which this team clearly shows was a feat without Jimmy to not just fall out of the playoffs. Basing future decisions off of that perceived failure is ridiculous to me. Get someone who will play more than Jimmy like a Russell or Beal and we get a 4,5 or 6 seed to shape a team around to push for a top seed. We fished in the lottery for over a decade and it didn't work so I really don't understand the attitude of do it again because that's the only way to do it.

All we need is one or two or maybe three more attempts at hitting it big in the lottery and finding a potential max contract guy...

... and this franchise is in great shape. All we need is that one max contract #1 pick.

Everybody should be traded for more picks. More picks!!!! MORE PICKS!!!!!!
