Quality soft tank tonight. I'm sure whoever we draft will be excited to mesh with our young core of talent in the tundra. Go Wolves!!!

Haven't watched for awhile but managed to tune in for the 4th quarter. The players are not trying to tank. We just fucking suck. Towns is playing like the classic "stuff the stat sheet on a bad team" player. No way I would give him all NBA status for this shit. And Ryan has done zippo to indicate he is qualified to coach a real NBA team.

Yeah but Taylor has seen enough to show that Ryan deserves the job. He wants a high caliber GM that will work with Ryan, and lead us back to the glory days.

Pull Towns for the remainder.
Stat stuffing might be motivation for Wiggins to play tough.

They won't pull Towns to much of a financial gain for him to make All NBA

This was the 1st game I thought Towns was super selfish. He didn't bring it on D and forced way to many things offensively when he had guys wide open.
Tyus still not a NBA starting PG.
Wiggins was very good tonight.
I still don't know why Saunders doesn't trust Saric more

I was wrong about Frank Kaminsky. I thought he'd be a quality starting center, but alas, he's barley getting any minutes.

It's about time! If the season ended today, we'd be 11th in the lottery with a good shot at getting to #10 if the Lakers can start winning some games and a halfway decent shot at #8 if the Pelicans get hot. We should have started the soft tank at least three weeks ago and we'd be positioned to get as high as 6th or 7th in the lottery race.
I didn't see the game tonight. But I'm not worried about KAT. I'll take 16 rebounds. As KG used to say, rebounding is all about effort. I noticed some reports suggesting KAT was selfish tonight. But his statline, with 6 assists, suggests otherwise. I actually don't expect anyone to play especially hard or at the top of their game at this point as the team enters full soft-tank mode towards the end of another dreary season. The only players worth evaluating at this point are the rookies - Okogie and KBD. Whether the Wolves win or not at the rest of the season will have no impact on the fate of this team beyond this season except to the Wolves enhance their lottery position for a better chance at landing an allstar caliber talent. Losing tonight to Charlotte, one of our main competitors for lottery position, was a step in the right direction. :)

I dig Lipoli.
But I hate that a season ticket holder is so willing to accept a team tanking its final 25 games of a season (after tanking the first 13 games) of the season just to move up 2 or 3 spots in the mid lottery.
If the people shelling out money to see the product don't give a shit about winning... why would anybody else. I know I've blamed Glen Taylor for the level of malaise about winning in this organization. Maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe it's the hardcore fans.
This is NOT the type of tanking a good franchise does. To still be doing this sort of tanking with the full endorsement of the team's most ardent fans 12 years in is a fucking embarrassment to all of us.
