I wouldn't offer more than 10 per year. Would rather see what offers he gets next off season in RFA.

I see some people are already chiming in on their thoughts of what they would do with Saric this summer in terms of contract. I'm a Saric guy but I do not know if there is a deal out there that makes sense for both sides unless Saric and his agent doesn't really care about money or something. Lol Saric hasn't been super great the time he has been here and at times it seems like the minutes he plays we value him highly either. The reports are the team does value him highly though so...shrug.

Personally I think if he really would take something around the 10 million mark I think you have to take that gamble that he doesn't suck and end up being pretty good. The reports earlier this season was he was likely to get a lot more than that from philly...or that's what people thought he was gonna get so...I doubt he is going to settle for something a bit over the mid-level. It will be interesting to see what some other guys get this summer.

I really hope we don't make the same mistake with Saric that we made with Gorgui. Saric is obviously a lot better, but I could see this organization giving him a long term contract for 15 mil/year this summer, a year before RFA, when no other team will give him over 8 mil/year in RFA. Yes, we got burned by only locking up Love for 3 years instead of 5, but since then we've let that affect us on Wiggins and Gorgui. We can't be so afraid to let these mediocre players go to RFA and let the market determine their value.

There is no reason to resign this guy right now. If he costs more in future, great....that means he got DRASTICALLY better than he has been thus far. This is a prime example of a guy we covet more than most just because he is here. He is easily replaceable based on what he has shown thus far. He is worth no more than $5-7MM with what he has done to date. I would love to pay him more if he earns it.

Wolves need to find a deal like Clippers got with Harrell. He has to be best non-rookie deal in NBA right now. $6MM per for his production? A few guys fall through cracks each year. Be patient here....Saric is NOT worth any type of overpay.

Yep, maybe Jerry West should be our top offseason Target.

He's shooting 39% from 3 with us so he's not just some bum. He unlike G actually brings a modern NBA skill to the table. He's not a great fit next to Towns defensively, but he's a 5 out piece we should retain and replace G and Taj with a defensive big to round out our rotation and let us close out games with the personnel we need.

I like saric, but I like him for under 10/yr. Ilyasova is shooting 38% and making 7 this year. If I'm not being a homer, I like him every bit as much as saric.

I think the comp is still worthwhile but Saric still has the theoretical idea of potential. He turns 25 soon and this was the 3rd year in the league. Plus at 30 in the off-season people know who Illyasova is plus he tends to miss games every year. Also I'm an illyasova homer. Lol

Of the guys KAT has played the most with (so excluding players like KBD, Butler, Reynolds, etc.), his player pairing net rating with Saric is better than anyone else. His worst? Taj Gibson. That is an interesting data point.
