SO,
A 6th man that can get points in a hurry who isnt a total turnstyle on defense (ideally a combo guard).
Graham/Okogie offrtg 90.8 drtg 105.9
Okogie/Culver offrtg 96.7 drtg 100
Graham/Culver offrtg 100.8 drtg 103.8
Then a bigger stretch 4 that can defend
We can move roco to the 3 which wil increase our spacing.
Do you think it's possible KBD can fill this role?
I liked him better than okogie last year.
I dont think hes all that talented, but he is so smart on the court and understands his role. I think we need guys like that next to kat and wiggs.
Wiggs legit looks for him on cuts and kick outs because kbd knows where to be. I think he studies a lot of film on the tendencies of our own players.
Ive liked kbds game for a while. He isnt flashy, but really solid, very tyus like.
Nowell is the guy id like to mold into our own vinnie microwave johnson.

Kind of dating yourself with the microwave comment.

Nunn is the 3 and d guard with playmaking skills we all would love and graham has more potential as a lead guard with elite 3pt shooting or 3rd star in this squad.
I do like the young core we have with culver, okogie, kbd, nowell, reid and martin. I think Novell seems to have the most potential to be that cheap but legit contributor ala dunn/devonte graham for us down the road. I expect more from culver due to his draft position and I think he will be a solid starter. Kbd has been impressive and I hope he can sustain his play and be that combo forward for us.

The shot itself mechanically looks good, he just misses wildly at times due to more then likely either a mental block, thinking too much, confidence, or lack of actual reps at game speed. When you practice you should be doing so like you are in a game situation. Running the floor, etc.
I know Anthony Tolliver mentioned this as well who is one of the best 3P shooters. Culver can become one, he needs the proper work put in. Maybe some confidence boost will come too.
