Jim Peterson pointed it out a few games ago... he even has a side-spin on the ball on his shot or something. He's more of a big who can hit threes when in rhythm which is what we saw yesterday.

Coupled with his ability to score inside (although he seems to miss some bunnies) makes him a nice versatile player. But I wouldn't expect him to ever be a lights out three point shooter. Just a capable one.

Yep, he can be a nice piece going forward. The Bucks have a lot of Saric type players, who combined with a star can be really effective.

- Kevin Garnett was an MVP... HOF... caliber player who was ripped repeatedly despite posting big stats on teams that didn't go anywhere.
- Kevin Love was the first guy in history to be among the league's Win Shares leaders on a losing team... but he too was ripped for posting big numbers on losing teams.
- KAT is posting insane efficiency and good to great counting stats who is being ripped constantly for team success.

Are we really the land of 10,000 Hollow Stats ---- or merely victims of one lousy owner?

It's not that hard to figure out. Ricky was creative, had a lot of fun on the court, and was white which gives him a 36% bump amongst the predominantly white fanbase.

He needs to get his fouling under control, so many of his fouls are boneheaded fouls that he doesn't have to commit. He gets frustrated so easily, he clearly needs a sports psychology coach. From my observation he has a weak mental mentality on the court and that's fine, because it means he can elevate to new levels of great, just fix it KAT! We need the best version of our All-star not one that rides the bench due to foul trouble.

A couple years ago Wolfson had some sports psychologist on his podcast and I think he had worked with Towns Wiggins and Lavine. I know he worked quite a bit with both Lavine and Wiggins and he spoke to playing through and reacting to calls. It was interesting.

He's insanely talented but from what I see he could be even better and more than anything he could be on the floor more often. If he is more prone to losing his emotional control when tired then the staff needs to help him by getting him out a little early when he's already picked up a foul and extending him a little longer when he has not picked up a foul. He needs to put focus into this recognizing when its happen is the first step.

Agree with a lot of what you said. Honestly even though some of his fouls are dumb and they are bad habits from basically the beginning Id rather have to have him take it a notch down than up. It's also possible that an offseasonnand a different culture/coaching staff could help also. It think in the past he didn't do as much to stay or of foul trouble. You do have to learn to play more physical. Okogie is finding that out and quite honestly he gets the benefit of the doubt at times the way he plays physically defensively.

Sixers fans said he was streaky and a couple said you could basically tell of his 3 pointer would go in or not when he shot it. I'm not quite there yet but I think Jim Peterson's points gibe some hope Saric can improve as time goes on. Worth remembering this is his 3rd year in the league and will turn 25 in a few weeks. A number of these types of modern euro bigs didn't figure it all out till they were more in their mid to late 20's. His FT% has gone up every year. Saric can do other stuff though which can keep him valuable on the floor. They need to get him more involved. If he starts playing well under Ryan Saunders that's gonna hell all around. What could matter about as much as anything is whether they get him for a gpppd number in his next contract.
