But we have Teague's expiring contract AND Okogie. I'd say we're better off.
I would just say I enjoy watching Ricky play basketball more than Teague. If I had to pick one for one season I would probably I would take Ricky. I do think Teague and Ricky are both in that same tier of PG though. I also think both of them don't move the needle even remotely enough to where you want to be as a organization and having the chance to compete for a championship. Even though I like Ricky a lot that contact would be holding the wolves back.
Even though for the most part I believe Teague has been a slight disappointment as a wolf, I would still trade Ricky for that 1st 100 out of 100 times.
This pretty much sums up my feeling.
I'll add that if Napier is half price of either guy I would take him over both....and he might be even much cheaper than that idk.
Ehhhh, let's pump the brakes. That's a really tough sell when Napier is shooting 30-percent from the floor.

He honestly looks to be 3x the defender Teague is and you know I stick up for Teague a lot. Keep in mind we are talking about paying him top backup money at the most.

Do you see how janky your list is? Or does someone need to point out the specifics for you?

not sure how a post about Rubio's tough situation and specific praise for us (Minnesota fans and the org) was turned into a should we have Rubio instead of Teague.
That said, I don't want him running our offense, but I think he would be exactly what the 2nd unit needs, a savvy distributor that will run the offense for a bunch of role-players who run around like crackheads on the court with little purpose and seemingly no direction. As we all know, his salary would be better spent on an actual starting PG.
As a person, he is up there on the list of good guys - and I know most here would sign Ted Bundy if he was a rim protector or Adolf if he had a 3 point shot.

If Adolf shoots the three like Steph Curry, sign me up.
(Your original point is understood, though most threads on this forum tend to deviate from what they started as.)

Let's not forget that Q lets Jeff Adrien babysit his kids because he brings a certain toughness to the job.

Robbie Hummel deserves a shoutout even though I have no idea how to work him into this conversation.
