Admittedly, he isn't necessarily needed, but I think he'd be a "nice to have" option. The guy turns 35 in February, but he was a mid-season addition by Memphis last year and showed he still had plenty in the tank for 40-ish games. Not to mention, if he stayed healthy and produced in his limited role here, there's that added appeal of flipping him for draft compensation from a contender that may have been hesitant about him pre-season due to injury concerns -- see: Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, etc.

...or we can just start Vonleh along with KAT (when he's not suspended for fighting) and move RoCo to the 3 and Graham comes off the bench. Plus I'm not sure Noah is really worth much anymore these days as a trade asset.

When a team is both bigger and more talented, than we need to at least try to counter one of those two strengths. We have size on our bench and we can go pretty big if we want to.

Sure, that's definitely an option. I'm just not a fan of moving guys out of certain roles when they're thriving in them. Even in spot starts, I think Vonleh is a guy that can get out of rhythm easily if too much around him is changed.

Anybody listen to Dane Moore's latest podcast with Britt Robson?

Oof. Robson and I really just don't see the game the same way at all.

That's interesting - I'm in the same boat with you on that.

I didn't. I'm curious - What's the upshot of your disagreement with Robson in that podcast?

I am a bit surprised that Noah hasn't signed yet. I wonder if he is waiting to see which team actually needs him Or has the best shot of a deep playoff run and then sign later. Is he better than Dieng? Probably. How much better? Idk but I think I'd rather just play Dieng in that role and have the roster spot we would be using on Noah to have some younger player around that MIGHT develop into something. I'm guessing a few other teams were thinking along the same lines. I thought the Lakers would have been better off with Noah than Howard but we will see. Cam who would you cut to bring on Noah?

Dieng proving exactly why he doesn't command minutes on a team trying to win anything. Soft.
