Summer league roster 3-point %:

Barford: 43%
Brown: 40.2
Nelson: 35.3
Koulekev: 39.5
KBD: 36
Okogie: 38
Stark 39.9
Tyell 41.4

Some pretty good numbers there.

He looked in the mirror?!? ;-)

Love it! May be someone stands out and we sign to a 2-way.

Some random thoughts on these guys.

Someone on Twitter either said his nickname was or should be 3-gor but either way it's one I support. I like the rebounding numbers from him too. He might be the guy I'm most intruiged by so far but I haven't seen videos of everyone yet.

Someone on realGM board said Jonathon (Jon) Stark is on the summer league team?!?!? Max him out!!!!!!!!! One of my best friends loves Jon Starks and he got a big kick out of a screenshot of that post. I think he is a guy that had some bad injury and if he can actually come back from it he is supposed to be pretty talented.

By the way, I'm going to Vegas this summer. I'll be at the first two games, Friday and Sunday nights. I'll be sure to provide a full report when I return.

I'm envious, Lip...I had a terrific time at SL 3 summers ago. You've probably already booked your hotel, but Hard Rock is a great option...just a quick walk to the 2 arenas.

Have fun, and send reports!

Thanks for the suggestion, LST, but as you suspected we've already booked our hotel. Since I'm going with my wife, you might not be surprised to learn we're staying at the Bellagio. :). A bit of a hike to the arena, especially in 120 degree heat. But there are lots of taxis. We're both excited to see our two rookie draftees and some possible young FA signees.

Man I am very excited about this year's summer league team. It's pretty loaded all things considered for the Wolves SL team.

Amile
Okogie
KBD
Perry Jones
Terrell (Wolves current 2-way player)
Charles Cooke (Lip will be happy and was a former 2-way player last year)
Andrew white (was a 2-way player last year also)

Then there are thebusual cast of fun rookies.

This year's team has some more experienced/talented players than we have had in a while.

Jon Lucas is the coach. I'm curious to see how well that goes. From what i have seen he could be a guy that helps this franchise as a guy that's upbeat talkative and doesn't take things ridiculously serious in a good way. Maybe he isn't an amazing coach but I think his personality could be a real asset if he is and this franchise needs as much of that type as it can get with Thibs and Layden at the top.

Yeah, this looks like the best SL roster the Wolves have put together yet...should challenge for the title, I think. Lots of 3-point shooters, and they also seem to have added a few serviceable bigs ( although Foul-Land is an unfortunate name for a center :(). Winning a SL title doesn't mean much, but we do want to maximize the number of games for our 2 draft picks and anyone else who may make the final roster.

What is Amile's status right now?

There was no word that the Wolves extended a Qualifying Offer, so he would be an unrestricted FA. The Wolves do hold his Bird Rights, just like they hold Belly's Bird Rights still. But since we are seemingly limited to vet min contracts, those Bird Rights are rather meaningless. I would think Amile is open to signing a vet min contract with the Wolves should they be so inclined.

Just to cover all the bases of his status it seems based on my research Amile is also single just in case that's is what Q was really wondering about. :)
