The Eagles need a low scoring game and Brees just did whatever he wanted in the second half against us. You dodged a bullet there. If the Saints do anything in the first half in that game they beat us. I think it'll be a good game this weekend. 2 great defenses going against each other. As with the rest of the season I think if the Vikings can score 28 they win. I thought the same thing for the Saints game and we got 29.
We better hold the Eagles under 20 or we have little chance. We just aren't going to score as much on that field and with that crowd.
Pretty much any game this team plays is dependent upon the defense having a good game. When they can hold the other team to 17 or less they'll win 95% of the time, once they allow 20 plus my confidence falls off quickly! All that said, the defense should be able to hold Philly to well under 20 points as neither their running game, nor passing game with Foles under center are exceptional. The Saints were a superior offense IMO.
Of course now that I've weighed in they'll give up 40+.

I'm definitely worried about the pass rush after that last game. We weren't even getting close to Brees in the second half when he lit us up. Most NFL QBs are good when there's no pressure on them regardless if they are Brady or Foles.

The Vikings like to keep guys in the pocket and they did that with Brees most of the game. I did share your concern about the pass rush parts of the game though. It's also worth mentioning that after that long drive to start the half the Saints longest drive was 50 yards for a FG. The other 2 TDs were on drives of 30 and 40 yards because of the INT and that blocked punt.

An Eagles fan was arrested last game after punching a cop horse. Q, stay away from Lincoln financial field. A co worker of mine in DC (big Redskins fan) was assaulted there a few years ago. Worst..fans... ever.

Ha! While I don't get down to the Sports Complex often, I have gone down for a couple of Eagles games over the years, including the game against the Vikes last season (where there were like 5 turnovers in the first quarter or something crazy like that!). I have a friend at work in the law department and the outside firm they use has some really good seats, so I have probably avoided the worst of the fans. But the amount of drinking I witnessed, even in the higher end areas, is incredible.

No possible way they can be worse than the Raiders fans back when they were in LA! Constant assaults, non-stop beer being thrown on opposing fans, not to mention the verbal abuse of female opposing fans. I went to a Vikings game on time in the LA Coliseum and couldn't even enjoy the game. I've hated the Raider ever since because they actively embrace that bad boy/asshole image.
