Payne, hitting jumpers and making fancy passes! I was surprised to see him instead of Jordan Hill. May be Payne has been doing some good things in practice.

Small sample size, but Payne is shooting 67% on year, 50% threes and 100% free throws. Keep it up Big Fella!

Yep, both have looked good, but to me Belly is the one who's standing out with his confident play! They could really use that going forward.

It helps when he's out there with these other guys....not as much responsibility on his shoulders to make plays.

Belly is having a good game too. I like seeing what he can do while playing with the starters.

It's been a frustrating season so far, but kicking the Lakers' ass is a nice shot in the arm. Of course it's far from over.

Those were huge minutes from Payne when it looked like our cobbled together bench unit was going to blow the lead. Also we have banked in two shots. It's nice to see some stupid things go our favor for once.

One small gripe: that foul by Belly at the end of the 1st quarter simply cannot happen. You can't reach for the ball when a guy is dribbling at half court with no time on the clock. Beyond stupid. Other than that though Belly has been great. I wonder if this is a lineup Thibs considers going forward. Zach would be the featured scorer on the 2nd unit.

Couldn't ask for a better half.

Wiggins: has taken that next step as a scorer.

Towns: a little tunnel vision but he has been solid.

Belly: best game for him this year.

Cole: amazing on D tonight.

Payne: best half of his career both ways.

Ricky: stirring the drink

I don't think he will start like this lineup but I could see lavine first starter pulled then. Then plays all of the second quarter with the 2nd unit and ends with the starters

Yeah, Bjelly still effs up a lot of little stuff. The foul Mstermisty mentioned is a good example. The other one is the break away he had off a steal that he fumbled out of bounds. When we play good teams, these are the plays that can be the difference between winning and losing.
