So you're still holding out hope he'll be consistently good? DLO may not be worth his contract either, but he seems to bring it more consistently than Wiggins does, at least that is my perception.

I'd be okay with a Wig for DLO swap. But adding a first round pick would be insane for this franchise to do.

I agree. As long as Wiggins perceived value is so low there isn't a point of moving him. We are better off moving an inflated asset like Covington in my opinion.

Heard a 3 way deal of dieng and covington to hou, capela and pj tucker to gs and russell to wolves.

Cool how would you feel if it was Wiggins and a lower first round pick acquired in a separate deal? How about Wiggins and Culver? This is all in theory as I don't think (although I haven't Really been paying attention) the Wolves are trying to move Wiggins and I don't think GS is dying to get him either.

I'd say there is pretty much zero chance of that happening. I think Houston basically considers Tucker a core piece to what they are doing at this point.

If we don't lose a first round pick that's a win. Russell/Wiggins/Towns and a high pick this year. You're not gonna get much better of a go at it than that.

Monster, when I say I wouldn't mind a Wig for DLO trade, it's because I think it's 6 of one, and half dozen of the other. Personally I like Wiggins better. So no, I wouldn't give up any first round pick in addition to Wig.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind seeing Wig play for a good team next year. I know it wouldn't work salary-wise, but I'd love to see him on the Bucks.

I'm not sure. Our payroll would be insane with three max players and three poor defenders. I know I'm repeating myself, but we should put off any big deal for a player until draft day. And in the meantime we should be trading Covington and perhaps Wiggins to accumulate draft assets.

Thanks for the reply Cool. I actually still like Wiggins too.

I tend to agree with your sentiment Lip. However if Rosas can pull off some sort of deal where we are left with our pick and Wiggins Towns and Russell that would be intriguing even if it would make for a likely frighteningly bad defensive group. Russell does still have some position flexibility in my mind to play either guard spot. The payroll would be a problem but I think a Wiggins deal down the road could be done if needed. Personally I'm looking forward to watching the games I haven't seen to get a little better handle on what the out young pups have been doing. We need a lesser player or 2 to become something worthwhile. Its not just about Towns and the other top end guys of the roster.
