Looks about right to me, except as Geek pointed out, we can't count our 2018-20 picks as tradeable assets because of the Payne deal. I hated that deal when Flip made it and I continue to hate it now.
I'd take out the picks out and add Belly and Tyus Jones at the end of the list. I would also put Gorgui ahead of Ricky just after the 7th pick. Kris Dunn had far more value as a pick last summer than he does now. The minutes he got last season really exposed his profound weaknesses on the offensive side of the ball, so I think you ranked him appropriately.

6. Thibs
7. Jim Peterson
8. LaVine
9. 7th pick
10. Jeff Adrien (he'd come back to us in a second, I just know it!)

1. Glen Taylor
2. The weather
3. State income tax
4. Trent Tucker
5. CJ
6-10. Anyone that dislikes MVORR17 - I believe there are only 4 of them.
I missed this post in my first perusal. This one is closer to my thinking, although I think I should be #2 just below KAT. A few additional thoughts:
Seriously though, the $30 million in cap space has to rank at the top of the list. It's the only asset that would be completely additive. Any of the other assets would have value only as something exchanged for something else, which means their asset value would actually be a net value.
I'd list Thibs as both and asset and liability. His reputation could attract free agents, but his personality and antics could repel them.
I'll be sorely disappointed if Jeff Adrien doesn't end up in the Timberwolves uniform next season. I don't care if it takes the full $30 million - go get him Glen!

I'm surprised that Robbie Hummel didn't make it in there for Q too.

Yeah, I wasn't sure where to put Thibs. I would have probably put him higher when we first learned of him coming on board as coach. I truly believe coaches can have a huge impact on defense, less so on offense. And he is generally known as THE preeminent defensive coach....well, may not after this year. But, there is still time and hope.
On Adrien, last I heard he was playing in a Caracas prison league down in South America, so he's definitely in playing shape and ready for another chance. I just hope he's getting my letters.....

My updated list without future picks.
How would you rank the Wolves top 10 assets?
Here is how I would rerank them. Removing future picks in 2018-20
1. Towns
2. Wiggins
3. LaVine
4. Rubio
5. 7th pick in 2017 draft
8. Pekovic.
7. Dieng
8. Kris Dunn
9. Belly
10. Jones

God damn bunch of comedians. I was thinking tradable assets. :-)
As far as Adrien he has always ben honest with me. He said he won't come back until Payne is gone. So things are lookings good for him. It also made me think who is honestly better. Hummel or Belly?

Pek isn't a tradeable asset. He will be cap space soon enough.
I love me some Robbie but Belly is a better player and has wayyyyyy more trade value...if healthy.

Couldn't we trade Pek for a player and they cut him?

Are we sure Thibs and Layden know Pek is still on the team lol? He didn't play a game this year so I don't know why he isn't medically retired yet.
