Careful. If every time he has a good game you re-tee this thread up don't be surprised if someone here throws it in your face when he doesn't do so well or gets benched in the 4th!
Tonight was good. We saw how advanced he is at running the pick and roll, even when guys go under the screen.
LOL. I'm used to the Ricky bashing on here, which has gone to ridiculous levels. If bashers want to keep at it, while Ricky is playing like an Allstar, they'll just look foolish. Unapologetically, still a huge fan of Ricky's game.
I love Ricky too, but even you must admit he hasn't been very good this year as a whole. I do think some of that is attributed to how Thibs' has used him. It's nice to see the old Ricky back these past couple of games, that's for sure.

Ricky has been mostly horrible this season. He has worst net rating of players in regular rotation in whole team with -4.0. Btw. Shabazz has 2nd best net rating in whole team with +1.3. Bazz and Belly are only players in Thibs regular rotation that actually have positive net rating.
Your data is wrong. Ricky is +4 in Net Rating which is second best to KAT among starters. He's also our top guard in RPM. Bazz has a negative Net Rating. Here is link to the Offensive and Defensive Rating (difference is Net Rating): http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/MIN/2017.html

He's deserved some of the bashing. You also have to admit that Thibs has taken the ball out of his hands in order to develop and ride the big three. That has had a very real effect on his ability to impact games. We'll see....eventually he needs to get back to a passable level of hitting the wide open shots like he did in the 2nd half of last year. He's not there yet.

I wouldn't question Mikkeman on this stuff. He's right. You must be looking at the b-ball reference Ortg and Drtng stuff. Go to the NBA stats site instead.

I think the "system" issues have to be as much on Ricky as Thibs. Ricky needs to be aggressive. He is making a point recently of getting past the first layer of defenders when he gets the ball. He just wasn't doing that early in the year. It's really the chicken and the egg, both were responding to eachother from what I saw. Ricky wasn't doing much to establish anyone's trust so far this year. Loved his agressiveness tonight.

I do question it since its inaccurate. I am a huge fan of advanced stats and his on court impact is very positive whether you use ESPN, Basketball Reference or official box score plus minus.

It's negative on the NBAs official website. I'll go with them. I posted the link above.
All the widely followed on court indicators are positive for Ricky. Real Plus Minus, Box Score Plus Minus Win Shares and Net Rating (ORating-DRating). I don't see the data at NBA.com but you must have it backwards, since all four of the advanced on court stats are very good for Ricky.
