One thing that hasn't been mentioned in the thread is Jokic's 10 turnovers last nigh...TEN! I know he handles the ball a lot, but that is absurd...he only had 2 TOs in his two previous games combined. I see that KAT had three steals. How much of a hand did he have in Jokic's bad night?

I also see that this was the first time all year that the Nuggets have lost a game when leading after the 3rd quarter. Think how remarkable that is...the worst 4th quarter team in the league hangs the first 4th quarter loss on the Nuggets! Ironic, but nice to be on the right side of that equation.

This was a top 10 win for me this season. It felt like we did what was necessary to keep it close then pulled away in the 4th the way a winning pro team should.

I'm not worried about Wiggins. Also liked the rotation tonight. Felt like Thibs adjusted, bravo.

I noticed that MGH was a +2 last night while Jimmy Butler was a -5. Yet, Jimmy had 35 minutes compared to HGH's 5. That's shameful. Obviously those minutes should have been reversed. :). Nuff said. The individual plus/minus is the most ridiculous stat in basketball.

I only saw 4th quarter last night. Question for the group, would it be worth watching the recording of the rest of the game?

KAT, Butler and Crawford looked great in the 4th and their box scores reflect it. The box score indicates that Gorgui had a terrific game with 9 rebounds and 2 steals in only 21 minutes. He seems to be adjusting to his bench role and looking more like the Gorgui from last season. Wiggins was largely invisible in the 4th. I noticed he had 5 rebounds and 2 steals, so that's a bit encouraging. But he had another horrific shooting night.

This was a really nice win. The next two road games will be tough, but they're winnable. Then we return home to face the Nuggets again. It would be huge to win these next three. That would help make up for the shameful 3-2 record we ended up with in the prior 5-game home stand.

Second huge win in a row for the Wolves. Beating Denver and Portland in consecutive games might be the two most important wins of the season so far because it gives us a little breathing room ahead of two key playoff competitors. We have done really well against our division opponents. Now can we pleeeeaaaaase beat the effing Phoenix Suns!?

Not sure you want to watch the rest of the game Lip. You will see a lot of the crappy Timberwolves defense, with poor transition defense and lots of made 3's by Denver. Plus you will watch the Wiggins clank fest. He even missed on a couple of finishes at the rim where he should have dunked it but instead tried a lackadaisical layup that rimmed out. So frustrating....his defense was solid though.

Thanks, Q. On your advice, I'll forego watching the rest of the game. It will just put me in a bad mood.

Rubio TS% - 51.8%
Wiggins TS% - 49.6%

What a train wreck. Meanwhile rookies like Jayson Tatum and Kyle Kuzma waltz into the NBA and already outperform our 4th year #1 pick on a max contract.

Butler is now 6th in the NBA in RPM.

As for MGH other than taking one bad shot he did his job playing D and keeping balls alive on the boards.

I'd say Dieng was a mixed bag. His stats probably make him look better than he was.

Wiggins barely played in the 4th quarter as Thibs went with Crawford who again was terrific scoring and was good enough on D. Wiggins played a ton (all but 3 minutes) before the 4th though and was the only starter with a positive plus minus despite only playing a couple minutes late in that pivotal 4th.

I fell asleep sometime in the 3rd quarter with the Wolves down about 10 (was it 97 - 87?)... it was a very "meh" type of game to that point.

I woke with the Wolves up 102 - 100. Nice!

Yeah nice 2 wins against our middle of the pack west opponents.
