Yes! I want us tracking how other Western Conference teams are doing versus our favorite college prospects. Good sign!

Almost a full decade since we've been 4 games over .500

Well looks like the Blazers are dominating. Wolves will keep pace at 5 games back

This thread epitomizes being a Wolves fan. Start the night tied for the worst record in the league, yet cling to a ray of hope because that's all there ever is.

Still, 5 games back with over 57 games to play is not an impossible task. But the turnaround has to start now. And one quality win isn't it. Beat Houston, then maybe bump this thread again.

I remember after the Charlotte win feeling like it was a bit fraudulent because there was a series of very improbable plays that occurred that allowed us to tie it up. We were beat and on the ropes until the final minute or so. Sure enough, we reeled off 4 losses in a row after that game.

Tonight was different in that we bounced back after a lethargic 1st quarter and proceeded to clearly outplay Chicago from the 2nd quarter on and made some huge defensive plays down the stretch to hang on. Now THAT was a signature win.

To me what is depressing is what a terrible home team we are. Only 3 of our 7 wins has been at home!

I loved last night's win too, Q, but I'm not prepared to call it a signature win. Let's not forget that Chicago was missing its two lottery pick PGs, and were forced to go with 2 much less experienced PGs. To his credit, Ricky took advantage of the experience gap and had a nice game, but I think this one ends up differently if it's Rondo and MCW rather than Grant and Canaan.

I wish Rondo had played, the first quarter might not have gotten so far out of hand.

Now would be a great time to start protecting our home court. Come out on Saturday and play a good game against Houston and get it done. Then take that momentum into the game against a team we should definitely beat in Phoenix.

Ya my main point for this thread is even after how bad the wolves have started they are a mini run away from getting right back in to it. Are they capable of that we will see

As Cool said, beating Houston and Phoenix would go a long way.

Speaking of Phoenix, Eric Bledsoe would look good here. His health is always a concern, but when healthy he's top-10 at his position.
