I bet when they don't land Kevin Durant in free agency, the chatter will be that LA and NY didn't want him either. They're just covering their own asses. Have fun with Kurt Rambis.

I'm not sure New York did want him due to the fact Phil wants more of a puppet as HC and Thibs wouldn't be that guy. LA is a different story, but yeah these stories usually mean nothing. It would be like me saying I really didn't want to date Beyoncé anyways. It's not like I had or will ever have the option. We were the best job on the market, Thibs wanted to be here.
