In the bad old days of the NBA, someone like Bill Laimbeer would absolutely club him in the forearms and make him physically pay for that B.S. move. I don't normally condone fouls intended to hurt folks, but I might make an exception with Harden.
I've learned to hate that move too. But one thing he's proving tonight is he can make shots, whether they are contested or not.
We look like a very immature basketball team tonight. Just did not bring enough energy to play a desperate team. Have to remember my own words, "it's a process".

That's just it. He's damn good at basketball - he doesn't need the chicanery to play well.
Meh. As J-Pete said, Harden set the tone for this team early on when he came into camp out of shape. It's a sloppy team with sloppy players like Howard and Harden. Both are supremely gifted in many ways, but neither are serious enough to lead a team to a title.
First off, for as good as Towns has been, the reality is less than 6 months ago he was a teenager. Him and Gorgui have been worked over under the hoop many times this season, and tonight was possibly the most glaring example. But the good thing is KAT's man strength is coming--the big time work for him starts this summer.
Target Center itself has been really disappointing this year. Like Abe, I went to one game this season. One. And I have had season tickets before. And that one game I was at was a morgue. Lets face it, until the team actually starts winning at a decent clip, the apathy will remain. 12 years (!) now without the playoffs, younger fans don't even have any memories of success.
One thing I would do for sure would be to get rid of these uniforms. We have stunk in them. And I've never liked them anyway, they look too cartoonish to me. I'd come up with something a little edgier, sleeker. Just give the home fans something new to look at.
We are a lame NBA audience. Target Center is in part to blame. They do a crappy job relatve to the rest of the NBS getting the audience vested in the game
