No more Jeff Adrien talk - please! Lol. This must be the only place in the World with a Jeff Adrien fan club. I acknowledge he played decent during his short stint here. But he's just not that valuable. In fact - I think he's out of the league now.

Regarding GR3 - that's just unfortunate. He was a good pick. But we didn't have a spot for him. Even now...assuming he was on the roster - where/when would he play? I guess they could have carried him on the roster for a couple years until they moved out some wings. But that's not really fair to the guy. I wish him well. But I don't think he'd ever play ahead of LaVine, Bazz and Wiggins.

The D-league as a true minor league system can't come soon enough for me. There will be even more prospects to argue about. It will be pure joy for basketball junkies. lol

I was one of GR3's fans and I am sort of ok letting him go however the rationalization you put forth can be a little troubling although perfectly reasonable at the same time. You develop talent if you can even if it's a couple years away. The thing was with GR3 my guess was he didn't want to sign one of those long term cheap deals where he was locked into a team that he didn't have much of a shot at getting legit playing time. Once the Wolves made the trade for Wiggins the GR3 selection made a lot less sense for both him and the Wolves which was too bad. Basically he was on a 1 year deal last year for the wolves. My guess is GR3 knew he would have no problem finding a roster spot somewhere which happened to be the case. Indy is a better spot for him than what we could have given him going forward and seems to be a good fit for what they are trying to do there. Hopefully we can find another young guy to develop into what I was hoping he might be which was a role player sort of a 3 and D guy.
