I would be interested to hear more about why people say GF is more aggressive than Wiggins.

Offensively? Defensively? Grabbing rebounds?

I compare both of their 19-year-old rookie stats, and easily decide to keep Wig.

Wiggins is 2 months younger than GA. GA came into the league as a younger player, so the 19 yr old rookie status is incorrect regardless of how they list it on BB ref or elsewhere.

Monster, just watch the games and you will see the difference. I am not saying Wiggins won't get there, but if I am deciding today I take GA. His skillset is just as good as Wiggins on the whole, but he looks to have taken the next step.

I'm surprised at how many people are saying yes. Surprised not because of Giannis, I like him as a talent, but because of how often this board pumps Wiggins up.

Also, not that it was asked, but I'd take Karl-Anthony Towns over both of them.

Taking GA, doesn't reduce what many of us believe is Wiggin's ceiling, but only saying that GA might get closer to his, and currently has a leg up.

I would also take KAT over the other two, although I don't know that his ceiling is as high in the current NBA where wings are valued so highly.

Sjm, it's true that GA was younger when he came into the league, but I still think time in the league is the more determinant factor...the learning curve is that steep. In the four games to date this year, I take GA. But in the 82 games of their respective seasons, I take Wig. I'm going with the larger sample size.

I think that's more about perimeter players being the top players in the league the last few years and therefore being more highly valued than anything else. AD is likely to be a top player this season and KAT could be another guy that eventually change that.

I treat GA first year in the league like Wiggins freshman year in college. I like that GA longer, has a better handle, better rebounder, and passer. For Wiggins to be better then him he needs to be that top level scorer. I have hope he will get their but this summer spent on the national team gave me reason to take pause. I think Sam, Rubio, and KAT are the right guys for him to grow with. I hope once he starts hitting his shots he takes off and never looks back and we all can laugh about the funk he was in at the start of the 2015 season.

GF is a great athlete, but Wiggins is a better one. GF is a decent offensive player, Wiggins will be a great one. They are both good defensively, and GF is the better rebounder. My opinion could change 3 years from now, but today I'll take Wiggins.

One more thing, Wiggins appears to be much more durable. To me that is huge.

Cool, what are you looking at when making your durability statement? GA played 158 out of 162 games in his first two seasons.
