GDT: The Rising Stars vs. The All-Stars
Re: GDT: The Rising Stars vs. The All-Stars
Nice dish by belly to bazz for the slam
Re: GDT: The Rising Stars vs. The All-Stars
This bump in these last few games really has a lot to do with Lavine. I was really hard on him a few weeks ago and since then he has looked like a real PG. He is playing within himself, sharing the ball, and the points are coming easier to him with proper spacing. I think the second unit has been really good lately.

tough run at the end of the half
Re: GDT: The Rising Stars vs. The All-Stars
We gave up too many offensive boards to the thunder.
Re: GDT: The Rising Stars vs. The All-Stars
Shooting 53.2% overall, 66.7% from three, but only 63.2% from the line.
Nice half though! Negatives? Of course, they're playing the Thunder.

Pek was supposed to be the antidote to these bigs like Kanter that typically push guys like KAT and Dieng around, but he is a shell of his former self. And Wiggins has got to help more on the defensive glass, especially when he's at SF. He had 0 boards in that half.

Yeah, offensively we really got it done. Ricky was wheeling and dealing to open guys and LaVine is just flat out hot right now.

Agree. Wig needs to grab some rebounds. Our 2 main sf, prince and bazz are not helping much either with 1 rebound each.

Rubio needs to shoot that wide open 3! let it fly!

Very true. I point out Wiggins because it's an established trend with him and it's always bugged me. Frankly, rebounding is one of those things that stays pretty static. You're either good at it or not. We may just have to realize it will never be something he does very well, despite his athleticism.
One thing he has done better lately is upped his efficiency. Since he'll likely never be a stat-stuffer do-it-all wing, his claim to fame will be to become a dangerous scorer and shot maker. I'd love to see more 20 point/12 shot outings or 30 point/20 shot outings.
