It's pre-season. It means next to nothing. Maybe wait to brag until the games count and he does it for more games than you can count on 1 hand.
Tongue in cheek comment, but of course you of all people would get pissy about it.
I don't care for your know-it-all attitude when it comes to who's going to be good and not good based on small sample sizes. You think it's tongue and cheek where I read that as you tooting your own horn because that's all you do on this board the first chance you get.

Watching the highlights for D Will on the Knicks and it looks like he has much better form on his jumper. His legs don't kick out nearly as far and it just looks like a nice, smooth and effortless motion now. Maybe the triangle simplifies what he has to do on offense so his brains don't take him out of the game as much allowing him just to gun it while he's out there. He still has an atrocious hair game though.

I caught some of the game against the Wiz, but didn't notice the difference in his shot. I did come away thinking that he seems to be playing more relaxed. I saw some of an interview with him where he stated the biggest difference was that he felt wanted and has been encouraged to just do what he does well. I don't know if it can be that simple, but it will be interesting to see if he can carry it over to the regular seasons and if results in more wins.

The article I read about the triangle makes it sound very complex but they work very hard on fundamentals so that could help Williams. I've thought Williams has been trending towards at the very least a solid rotation player for a .500 basketball team for a while. To me the Knicks made a good gamble on the guy they need talent and there is still some upside to him. On offense he is sort of a Corey brewer shooting jumpers that may not be efficient and then he attacks the rim and so he gets to the line where he still shoots a disappointing percentage all things considered. His defense at either forward spot seems at least decent when it comes to man defense and at the very least not a liability. If he can ever hit 3's on a high enough rate the. He would become much more valuable. I would put his ceiling at fringe started. The Knicks signed him for like 5 million a year. That seems like a good deal for both sides.

I am both a little surprised and a little not surprised. You can see he has potential but the bit I have seen he is not a good defender. He will block a bunch of shots but he is weak and somewhat clueless. He is a rookie and a young guy so you expect all that but there are some legit concerns about him on the floor plus you take all the other stuff about him into account. Basically everyone at the bottom of the roster had a legit shot of making the team so there were going to be some sorta tough decisions. They are probably hoping nobody else will pick him up and they can add him to their d-league franchise which probably is the best thing for Upshaw actually. He needs to play some ball.

I don't remember what thread it was that people were talking about ticket prices for the preseason games but there is a Bulls vs Mavs game here Friday night and the cheapest ticket is $59. You can go to a Husker football game for a little less than that. I will be interested to hear how many people go.

Whew! Now Milt can right all the wrongs this franchise has made and bring back Jeff Adrien! (sorry, Q, I just couldn't help myself!)
Marc J. Spears ?@SpearsNBAYahoo 3m3 minutes ago
The Pelicans have waived forward Jeff Adrien and guards Bryce Dejean-Jones and Bo McCalebb and now have one extra roster spot.
