Lock. The defense is competent. LaVine, Towns, Gorgui, and Nema are legit. The 3 vets are contributing. Wiggins can close games. I believe Rubio will be fine. Playoffs baby.

LST you're on fire lately with all your posting, you must be excited. But the 4th option should have been the Jim Mora bit, how did you miss that? I chose option 2, yes we make it.

Lets not forget once Pek is able to give them 20 minutes a game! Number one bench in the NBA adding Pek, yeah, playoffs baby!!

I predicted around 40 wins, so I am a believer that we have a chance and I voted for likely because I think the team has improved quicker than I thought. I expected mid to high teens for wins over the first half with more improvement coming later in the season as Towns, Wiggins, and Lavine got more experience. The confidence level is off the charts right now, and it seems they have put the losing mentality behind them. I thought the recent losing stretch might be catching up to them, but after watching them battle over the last three I am seeing a different culture than in the past.

Let me say that I don't see the West being weaker, but just seeing more parity. I think several teams have seen jumps in productivity from younger players, and less loading up on super teams. Other than SA in the west, I haven't witnessed the ridiculous FA signings that were more common in the past. This could be the most competitive season in a long time!

I'm thinking it's closer to 50/50, but since that isn't an option I went conservative with less likely.

I voted them as a lock....

Only teams better are..

1. Warriors
2. Spurs
3. Thunder
4. Grizzlies
5. Rockets
6. Clippers

As the season rolls on we only get better due to YOUTH, DEPTH, HUNGER FOR THE POST SEASON!

We have the second best road record in the entire league. We have the best young talent in the league. The only thing that derails this season could be injuries. We have been relatively healthy-but if Ricky, Wiggs or KAT go down for the year, we would struggle to make the playoffs.

I love how we're playing, and I think we're on a great trajectory towards absolute legitimate championship contenders (which I think is the more important question), but I think it's slightly unlikely that we seal the deal and make the playoffs this year.

I said possible, but not likely, which is a major step up from where I saw us before the season began.

I voted its more likely than not. I see Wiggins is already taking a leap to a possible all star caliber player. Lavine is breaking out and finding a niche for himself. Towns is going to be the rookie of the year. Rubio staying healthy is key and I'm optimistic that he can, were just being cautious with him now as he is coming back from a long layoff.

I'm also one of the few here that is optimistic about pek. Pek coming back healthy will be huge for us. Add his 15-20mins a game and it helps out our big rotation a lot.

I've always been cautious in prediction for the wolves after our decade long playiff drought and bottom feeding status. But this year's team gives me a different vibe. They are more likeable, talented and fun than any other team for the last decade for starters. They are just a good group of guys to root for and I see that they are putting out the effort as well.
