Given that I think Okafor is #1 on Flip's board, I don't have optimism for who we'll pick or where we will land. Towns is the guy we need and it looks like unless someone else loves Okafor as much as Flip we won't get him.

That seems to go against Flip's stated desire to bring in two-way players. Unless Okafor projects as a good defensive player. In that case he will be a great pick anyway.

Honestly I want Russell and am happy if we fall, but worry 76ers would jump in front of us and take him. I think Embid and Noel are as good or better then Karl and Okafor.

I think this has been brought up on every Wolves forum, but the answer to your question is another question. Why would Philly trade Embiid just a year into his career unless something was wrong with him?

I'd stay far away from that scenario.

Another reason they trade embiid is they maybe they like the potential fit of Okafor and Nerlens better than Embiid and Nerlens. Its hinkie anything is possible

We have a former teammate of his. If Wiggins is on board then I couldn't care less what he's done in Philly. The dude can play and they won't let him. You'd be pissed off too if you weren't allowed to play because of their tanking agenda.

If they legitimately thought he could play, then why wouldn't he be playing? Embiid as a rookie isn't going to bring them many, if any, extra wins this season. Playing their rookie doesn't go against the tanking agenda.

Also, while I dig Wiggins, I don't care about his player evaluation because frankly, he wouldn't be the most unbiased guy to ask. Of course he'd be on board for Embiid. That doesn't mean to give away a top-four pick for a guy with several major injury concerns and workout issues.
