Yeah, fun to think about Wiggins/Bazz as our forwards from an offensive point of view, but they would struggle defensively and especially on the boards. KG has a thin frame, like Wiggins, but he's also 4 inches taller. And he has always been a good rebounder. Wiggins has enormous potential as a defender and scorer, but I don't think he would ever be a satisfactory rebounder as a PF. I prefer to think of him as a very long SF or SG. And I'm still hoping that Towns is are long-term answer at PF.

LST - I never see Wiggins being a PF unless it is late in his career. People complained about Thad's reboudning at PF. This would likely be worse.

I hope Towns can play a lot of PF next year, but in time is a damn good center.

If dieng wants to shoot 3's and can actually make them at a reasonable clip then I wish they would let him do that. But like milt said, the coaching staff probably wont allow him to shoot 3's. but they will let him shoot the 20 footer.

I like wiggins at sf and maybe sg even if he grow taller. I see him making a leap next season towards near all star caliber player. He wont make the all star team but he will be one of those heavily considered. I know some here are sort of disappointed that he has not dominate the international tournament he has been playing at, but I always maintain that wiggins game is better suited for the nba game than it is to the college or international game.

I'd rather see Dieng start than Bazz. Dieng, Towns, Wiggins, Zach and Ricky would be the starting lineup I hope we see in two years.

Dieng isn't a long-term piece to factor into the starting lineup. We want him to be, but I don't see it. I see him as a really good first big off the bench. Our future power forward (when this team is a contender) probably isn't on the roster right now.

Here is a video of Milt talking to wolfson. There is some decently interesting stuff.

I agree with this take but I do think this year is key to see what we have and don't have from some guys and Dirng is one of them. If we don't think he can be more than a solid bench guy (and they think he will cost too much to keep) it may be time to consider moving him although I don't want to even if he is just a rotation guy. I do think there is a shot for Dieng to be a starter level player and this year I think we find out because he will play plenty of minutes to show what he can and can't do.

What if we had just selected Gobert over Dieng... What our future would look like... Holy shit.

I think Dieng is strictly a bench guy. If he is starting we are not going to win many games. I am with Cam that the PF of our future is not on the roster. I hope Milton and Flip realize that too. I felt like Portis could have been that guy but the Bulls picked him a few spots before the Wolves traded up to get Jones. Jones seems like a backup at best to me.

Sorry but this stuff kinda drives me nuts. We finally get a worthwhile player outside the lottery and people are wishing for someone else. Yeah Gobert would be awesome I get it but...ok ok sorry end of rant.
