Wolves aren't getting many foul calls.... Still making a game of it. Seeing growth from Bazz (drive and kick for open 3), LaVine getting his confidence back, Belly hitting shots and playing D. Love it.

Wiggins. Dieng. Bazz. Zach. Kat. They all play like rookies. Too bad only one of them is. But it still bodes well for the future.

Not that it matters, but here are some LaVine comments on Sam.

Sam Mitchell said after game how hard he's been on LaVine. Said when LaVine comes out on other side, he'll be proud of himself ... (cont)

LaVine on that notion: "It's not fun. Sometimes unfair. But he's coach and I'm player and that's what you have to deal with."

Was clear from LaVine's comments tonight he's not exactly embracing Sam's approach. And Sam is fine with that.

Why does it feel like Wiggins' rookie year all over again?
We suck.
Young players. Weak coaching staff. Lots of losses.
But therein lies the problem. We have a totally healthy roster, stabilizing vets, and an Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine that are one year older. We really shouldn't be this bad.

Yikes. At least Sam rewarded him by keeping him in there until the end. That was easily one of Zach's better games this season in terms of competing on both sides of the ball. I know his shot was going down, but I like how he defended.
Sam just might end up being that drill instructor or ridiculously tough teacher that you really dislike, but then some years later realize how it made you better......at least that's my hope.

Rubio was indeed awful this game.

there is so much disfunction going on .. i mean Belly for example he is wide open on perimeter all the time with hands prepared for catch and shoot, yet he got only shots off in 2 consecutive games (2/2 in both games btw.), guys just not passing him the ball at all and Sam does nothing about that
