I too think Zingis will be a bust, but he does have a relatively high ceiling nonetheless. Philly could trade back for Winslow or Hezonja instead of taking him No. 3.
Also, that report was trashed when Russell said a couple days ago that he would love to play for the Sixers. That's just the media trying to stir up nonsense as they have nothing else to write about with the draft looming.
"Their motto has been defense first, athleticism, length, and then shooting." In a sense, Zingis fits this. I don't think any team makes their draft strategy this simple, as best player available is more common, but those traits definitely sound like Zingis.

It is that simple when broken down to its base. It is obviously based on analytics but that is the areas they follow/categorize by.
I agree, they would trade down but was following suit on not putting trades in here.they would trade with the magic who would get porzingis and they'd take Winslow or hezonja at 5.

Turner at No. 6 caught my eye. Can I ask the reasoning?

Ha, I knew someone would see this...and I actually figured it would be you. I think that while we have heard a bit about DMC wanting WCS, I just don't think teams jump on him as early as some think. I think that the Kings clearly need a big guy that can play defense, and I simply believe that Turner offers some unique things for a team like the Kings. His outside shooting and ability to protect the paint will be beneficial. While his running style (and thus injury risk) is concerning, his skill set and talent level should be in demand. I just think he will go higher than many expect. And to be fair, he was a top 5-7 prospect throughout much of the season. He is certainly not a finished product, but this isn't wildly high IMO.

I've heard this idea that his injury risk is heightened because of the way he runs. I just found it amusing every time. Is there any evidence of this causing him previous injury? I haven't ever looked into his injury history but is there really a specific way to run now?

For me, and you can choose to ignore it if you'd like, it's not about the way he runs. It's about his knees and how they look when he moves around. It looks unnatural and like it could be a problem for him in the future. Keep in mind it's a seven-footer we're talking about.

Anyone else want to post their mock?
