Russell had 2 games where he had 14 rebounds. Towns never had a game with 14 rebounds. Not saying Towns is a bad rebounder, because that wouldn't be accurate, I was just showing that for a guy who people claim is undersized Russell will go in there to grab some boards. He also had one triple double, something Towns and Okafor can't claim.

Two games where he had 14 rebounds. Russell must be a better rebounder than Towns. And he had a triple double. That probably doesn't have anything to do with his position, though. Russell can mix it up!

You totally missed my point. My point is Towns is a great rebounder and Russell's season high rebounds beat Towns showing he is a good rebounder for a guard. I looked at the numbers and that shocked me that he had 2 games of 14 rebounds. Nowhere did I claim he was better than Towns rebounding wise or did I say Towns was a bad rebounder. I just used that for a reference point.

On the triple doubles, to get one in college is a very good achievement. Yes the position helps, but I've seen bigs get triple doubles before.

I would be fine if Flip took Russell but something needs to be done about the frontcourt. The Wolves would still need a high level talent and wouldn't get one without trading Rubio, LaVine, or Wiggins. I just don't see Flip going this direction

I mentioned in another post that If the Wolves could guarantee themselves Stein with a move up I'd be all over Russell with the first pick . I thinks he's gonna be a star. With Wiggins in place we could have our own version of Durant and Westbrook .

considering that LaVine was drafted with the idea that maybe he could be part of that 1-2 combo, it would be a huge waste of time to keep him around after 1 year only to find a better version of him in Russell. Flip doesn't wanna cut his losses there. He'd rather get rid of Rubio which is why I vehemently opposed any acquisition of Russell

I don't think LaVine is any good, so clearly I'm not for a situation where he's a huge part of the future.

This team can't even win back to back games without Ricky but Flip's gonna make Russell play defense, LaVine learn basketball and make WCS like basketball? Train wreck waiting to happen.

I bet you this. Give WCS a year playing here and come 2016 you'll be hoping Cheick Diallo lands in our laps to do exactly what WCS and Dieng were supposed to do before him.

It's not like this team wins a lot with Ricky either.. I figure what we lose from Ricky defensively on the front end we gain on the back end with Stein. While gaining a much needed scorer in his place. Hasnt the playoffs shown us that u need a pg that can score a lil? Unless u have LeBron on ur team?
