Man, some of you are going to be disappointed in how Vonleh turns out. Seeing him in some top-fives.

Randle, Stauskas and Parker's of course. :thumb:
What about Smart?
And regarding Smart, what position do you think he is best suited for?
And Smart, yes. I think he's capable of playing both guard positions, but is best suited for point guard. His biggest strength is his ability to penetrate off the dribble and finish at the rim; the more he handles the ball, the more of a factor he is. That goes for passing as well.
Defensively he's good to go against any guard, PG or SG. Combination of elite strength, good lateral ability and bulldog competitiveness. Creates turnovers and blocks shots well for a guard. Not afraid to take charges either. He's an animal on that end of the floor. He is only 6'3-ish, though. So while he does guard SGs well, at times he'll get shot over by taller/longer SGs. Nothing to be worried about, but if we're talking about his best suit, it's worth bringing up.
With all that said, I do think he'd fit with Rubio in the our backcourt. He has a lot of skills that this team doesn't have right now.

Regarding smart, I do think he will fit next to rubio in the backcourt. He needs to work on his jumper though. If he can shoot as good as barea can then he will be an excellent fit next to ricky.
Rubio and jj playing together was a fun and good backcourt for us. They compliment each other well and smart is better at jj other than shooting. He also has better size and defense and the the 2 together will create havok on both ends. They just need to improve their shooting.

Re: We Need a Jumpstart
1. Parker - Most NBA ready with huge upside as offensive player -- Melo or better. Excellent motor at least on offense.
2. Embiid (assuming physical issues don't impact his career) -- Hakeem potential.
3. Exum - Great blend of quickness, athleticism, ball-handing size for position and motor. Westbrook potential.
4. Smart - Great defender. Super tough. Shot's ok and likely to improve. Gary Payton potential.
5. Wiggins - would rank 2 one 3 on my list if not for questions surrounding his motor. Find me a draft bust and I'll likely find questions surrounding his motor.

Dead serious. I'm super high on what Gary Harris can do. For everyone who goes gaga over Bradley Beal, Harris outproduced Beal as a collegiate player in a much tougher conference and despite having slightly lesser measurables, is considered the better defender of the two. He can make a major impact at a weak SG crop.
As for Payton, best PG in this draft behind Exum IMO, I'd take him over Smart.
