No love for the Aussies? Longley, Shane Heal and Nate Jawai.

Don't worry, they're not in my list either.

1. Garnett
2. Rubio
3. Wiggins
4. Szczerbiak
5. Gugliotta
6. KAT
7. Cassell
8. Terrell Brandon
9. Marbury
10. Laettner

I expect Wiggins and KAT will be 2 and 3 pretty soon. Also expect Lavine to make the list pretty soon too.

So glad somebody else joined me in including Sam Mitchell on their list...too many votes for the wrong Sam who was only with us for one season and cost us a championship by injuring himself doing the Big Ball dance!

Mitchell ranks in the top 2 or 3 in all of these all-time T-wolf categories: Games played, minutes, points, and rebounds, and he's 4th in steals and 8th in blocked shots. Plus he played with heart every time he got on the court. Finally, KG credits him with mentoring him when he was a youngster trying to learn the NBA game, and he is now the coach of our favorite team. KG will always be Mr. Timberwolf, but Sam has to be #2 on the list of all-time great Timberwolves.

Has there been a more clutch season by any Wolves player in their history than what Sam gave us that season? Never has watching Wolves BB been more fun than it was that season and Sam was a major, major, major part of that! The injury was unfortunate, how he was injured even more so, but still, not even Wesley Johnson has smiled more during a season than I did that year!!

I like Mitchell as a player, but c'mon, his impact was largely in that most loved role of mentor. He was a solid player and a stabilizing force on a relatively young team, but looking back it was never Mitchell that I remember.
