Less Paul... more Crawford and Stephenson is good for the Wolves' chances.
I would normally agree with you, but I just don't trust this team enough. Anyone at anytime could potentially go off on us. Your post on Aminu was instructional. Funny how he suddenly makes all his corner 3's when he plays the Wolves!
Sure. The Wolves are not close to a defensive juggernaut. But Paul is an entirely different animal running that team than Crawford. And any time you get Stephenson in there... anything can happen. Good... but lately... mostly bad.

Understood. But the Timberwolves have often been the ultimate salve for a slumping team or player.
(but yeah, outside of my paranoia when anyone plays the Wolves, the Clippers have a bunch of chuckers and knuckleheads in their second unit. There is no way they can even make the WCF this year with that bunch).

Anybody notice that Wes Matthews broke out of a season-long slump with 10 three pointers yesterday... ?
Anybody surprised he didn't wait until he played the Wolves for such a game?
I watched Bazz guard Stevenson last game. He was fine against him which says something. Lol Nobody wants to see Bazz guard CP3. I get people don't trust this team but CP3 being out is a nice boast as he might be the best all around PG in the league.

Oh, I'm sure he's saving something for us. That guy has made 55 3-pointers against us since 2010.

Have the Wolves made 55 three pointers since 2010?

Ha, easy there m4gor! I hear you though, it would be pretty frustrating to lose to the Clippers.

Ha, I'm pretty sure Martin and Love have, but....yeah, very few players have terrorized us from beyond the arc more than he has in our entire team history. Channing Frye had a real nice run against us for two or three years when he was with Phoenix. I mean, seriously, the dude hit like 25 or 30 3's against us in a very short timeframe. Yet we refused to guard him out there.
Here's another little factoid for all of you anti-Mitchell-ites out there: Trevor Ariza has attempted more corner 3's than the entire Timberwolves roster this season (where did I read this? Was this in Lowe's article?). Now even I'm starting to get a little angry!

I think Stephenson is oddly playing more SF this year for the Clips, so I don't know that Paul and maybe Redick being out means he sees the court more. It does mean more minutes for Crawford and Rivers, and it puts Prigioni in the rotation as backup PG. I don't mind any of those developments.
