Doesn't seem like Love is all that close with any of his teammates, and maybe that is just not in his nature. I know Love seems to thrive on attention and maybe all this trade talk is just part of that, but with Ricky looking to re-up, I would have at least expected some conversation between the two of them.

Isn't Rubio out of the country right now? I don't think its that surprising that they haven't talked. NBA players have a full schedule as is it.
Also I don't blame Love for not liking JJ. I don't like JJ myself

I really like Ricky's comments here, but also find them quite unusual...in a good way. Reporters are going to be asking him how his conversation with Kevin went, and Ricky is usually pretty open with the press. I suspect it's more difficult to be evasive with the press in your second language. This could end up telling us a lot about where Kevin's head is right now.

Love managed time to talk with Rondo, and some Pub owner for a couple of hours. I would expect ten minutes with your starting PG wouldn't be too much to ask. I am pretty sure smart phones work over in Europe.

Rondo said him and Love barely talked. Maybe for eight minutes (some small number, eight may not be it) as they walked by each other. Not a big deal, but yeah I would have thought Ricky and Kevin would have had a phone call by now.

I think the quote was downplaying how much Rondo and Love talked, all of 39 seconds or something like that. Who knows how much contact they've actually had.

On a side note, Ricky is meeting with a new shooting coach starting tomorrow. I wonder who it is and if he will make drastic changes. There's probably nothing to lose at this point.

I'm not saying they don't matter or anything I'm just saying that sometimes people read too much into that and I am not just talking Love and Rubio or the Wolves I mean sports in general.
I also think that its a little interesting that Rubio says he only knows the reports he hasn't heard anything from Love himself. I'd be pretty interested to hear what comes of that conversation between these guys.
I was surprised by that as well Monster, if for no other reason than the wolves are supposed to be talking extension with Ricky, and I would think he would want Love on board rather than risk getting caught in another rebuild.
I don't expect Ricky and Kevin to be going bowling, but I would have expected some type of contact maybe on a weekly or even monthly basis.
Lip, if Flip can go the radio, I should at least be allowed a little message board fodder! :)
Lol. I can't argue with you on that, SJM. What we need to do is get you on the radio. :)

a new one? The one had post all-star break got him to shoot 42% post break. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Hopefully it continues because if he shoots 43% or better, what can people really criticize Rubio over?

Flip did say to Barreiro that he wants Ricky to develop a mid range jumper (big surprise) and this could be part of that decision.
