The tweener label should scare Wolves fans more than anything.

Add this to all the talk about Jabari: He also seems like a clear cut good guy. Respectful, intelligent, humble. Those are franchise qualities to me. Has all that but is still a killer on the court. I don't get that feel from Wiggins or Embiid. And like Lip said, I value a player's mental as much, if not more, than his skills.

It's always great to have players that are good people off the court, but that's not what they get paid for. The best player ever to pick up a ball is an asshole, a prolific gambler, a bad tipper, and not the greatest businessman. None of that affected his play.
Obviously you don't want someone who will be suspended or in legal trouble, but the Wolves are a basketball team, not a charity.

When drafting someone No. 1 all of that stuff DOES matter. I agree that being a good guy off the court doesn't matter to a point, but on the court attitude is vital.

Oh of course it does. That's what I said in my previous post about Wiggins and, to some extent, Parker. I just mean as long as they have on-court drive and aren't complete idiots off the court, I don't care if they're assholes.

If Waiters is part of the deal then I say go for Parker. Those two guys would make up for the scoring lost from Kevin. Then Id maybe reach a lil and go for Payne with the 13 pick.
Ricky
Waiters
Parker
Payne
Dieng
Id like to see Pek traded for some defense and a lil bench scoring.

I think you take Embiid at 1. Then trade Pek to the 76ers for Wroten and 10. Then use 10 and 13 to make sure you get Vonleh or Randle.
Ricky
Waiters
Bazz
Vonleh
Embiid
Waiters and Bazz can be volume scorers while Ricky, Vonleh and Embiid can work together to get good looks down low. Embiid and Vonleh have great two way potential and would put a force field around the basktet to protect Bazz and Waiters.

I still trade down and take Smart. He has the motor. The drive. The heart. He also is a bit of a freak at PG. It is way easier to fix his outside shot then any of the other things.
