Rudez can stroke the 3 and looks allergic to rebounds. Good for Bud he has a team that wanted him. This opens up a roster spot so that's good.
What is Glen saying there? I'm a little slow today (had a long night) but it soounds like Rudez will be waived?
Either way fantastic news, especially for Hummel or LoBrow
They must be waiving him, Volans. I think this might be good news for Hummel
and LoBrow. We know how much they like Robbie, and Lorenzo seemed much improved in his first game. If he keeps it up, I think there's a good chance they keep both of them.
We will see. They might keep him around for a while or they could also trade him. He is a cheap shooter teams love those guys. I just watched some highlights he makes Hummel look really athletic and yet he seems to have a nice feel for the game offensively and looks to pass well.
I think what Glen was saying was they found Bud a good landing spot and got a guy back. We will see what Flip has to say. Maybe someone will ask him about Bennett.

too bad, I thought Bud played well the second half of the year. Would of loved to see what he coudl do completely healthy and surrounded by healthy players on a contract year. The Wolves need shooting bad

LOL. I know about Damon Rudez because I had him on my fantasy team for a few games. I picked him up because he was a good three point shooter, but unfortunately when I streamed him he got very cold. I don't know if he makes our roster.

Yep. Perhaps there is more to this than we know right now. But as is, it sounds like we dumped a useful player for nothing again.

Chase wanted out of Minnesota to a more veteran laden team. As @WojYahooNBA said, headed to Indy

I guess they may have wanted to open a spot for LoBro and decided to move Budinger over AB. 11 locks for our roster are Ricky, Tyus, Zach, Martin, Wiggins, Shabazz, KG, Pek, Towns, Dieng, Bjelica. Probables would include Payne and Robbie. The more iffy ones are LoBro and AB. I would like LoBro to make it and I would only want AB back if he shows remarkable improvement before the season starts.

OK. But there's no law that I'm aware of that requires a team to trade a player because that player wants out. Teams should only make such a move if it's advantageous to them (not the player). Again - maybe there is more to this. I'm not saying it's a huge loss. But Chase was a useful player when healthy. And it wouldn't have been terrible to have him available in case of injuries (like we saw last year).

I don't see where Chase was going to get minutes here. He was basically going to be an end of the bench guy for us.

We got cap savings with the deal. It's a lot easier to swallow under 2 million when you cut a guy than 5. Now we can cut this guy and keep Robbie and Lo Brown. All those moves should be just under the cost of Bud alone. Unless we have proof Flip could have flipped Chase for nothing (equivalent of a second round pick and a roster spot) this was as good as it was going to get.
