Thanks for making the effort Lip. These games have become an ordeal for me to watch. I agree on Wiggins. I want to see him step up right now. Instead he's stepping back and it is worrisome. Hopefully he's just hit a bit of a wall, but the missed open shots and missed conversions need to stop. I will say that he's forced to work so hard on defense most nights that it's a wonder he much left for the offensive end. But one of his task this offseason will be to work on his stamina.

His defense hasn't been that great either. Wiggins just wants to get done with the season.

That might be the case the last couple games. But I think it would be unfair to characterize his season that way.

Great that Chase is going to have a great season next year so we can overpay him again.

Kekgeek---I am sticking with my call this offseason the wolves will trade, 1st pick, dieng (hopefully pek) and Bennett to sac for cousins and Stauskas. Then Malone becomes the new head coach

WOW, that is a prediction. Dont see it happening. Vlade is back in SAC, says Cousins is the best big he's ever seen. I wouldnt mind the deal, but I dont see Sac doing it

That's an interesting thought Kekgeek. Sacramento would be playing the role we played with Cleveland - trading an established all-star talent for a top prospect in the draft plus another player or two. I have no idea if it's remotely realistic, but damn, Cousins would be a game-changer for us.

So from what I'm reading from you guys, Lavine gets continually beat up by Flip and Wiggins gets free passes? Let's put Wiggins at point guard and see how he does. I mean, they're both the same age, both great athletes....

I agree with this, but I doubt Wiggins can take it.

I realize it might be a long shot, but I think it is interesting that Malone has been with the wolves some this season. Malone has gotten through to cousins and has a defensive mind. For the kings they would have a early draft pick and two young big guys in dieng and Bennett. Also Karl is not known for using big men, can tell me what cousins numbers have been with Karl

In a vacuum, I'd 100% trade our pick (even No. 1) for Boogie. I just don't think that's necessarily the smart play based on these two factors:

1. While Boogie's still young at 24/25, our supposed star is just 20 years old and not ready to be a star yet. I think we need another star prospect that can grow up WITH Wiggins. Not to mention it'd be wise to go for the potential 9 years of team control as opposed to whatever's left of Cousins' deal. The last thing we need is to be in the K-Love situation again.

2. I'm not so sure Boogie would be happy here. We're not as far along as Sacramento in terms of winning/competing, as sad as that sounds. Our potential is much higher, but it's likely not a plan that Cousins wants to play through some more. As we've seen with Love and even Young, guys want to win while they're in their prime, and if they can't, they'll do what's necessary to get on the proper situation to win (playoffs).
