OKC now have a plethora of 1st round picks and can still be relatively competitive with Paul / SGA / Gallinari and Adams.

I forgot about Gallo. Yeah they could certainly try and win some games. If CP3 is healthy...and he will probably be motivated...he is a hell of a player and he makes other better. Steven Adams will be enjoying a bunch of easy buckets playing with 2 PGs one of which is a certain HOFer.

Yep, they'll still be plenty competitive if healthy. Gallo is a very nice player when healthy. We should be all over trying to get him for a couple 2nds and some type of creative cap relief (which we have under the lux since we didn't match tyus)

There is some talk now CP3 May want to go to Miami to team with Butler.

A lot of first round picks plus a front office with a very good eye for draft talent. There's a very bright light at the end of the tunnel for the Thunder.

The Celtics had a war chest at one point and they have Tatum and Brown to show for it. Two guys who still have a long ways to go before they would be considered all-stars let alone franchise cornerstones. Pretty much all of those picks will be bad because they are from markets that can rebuild on the fly with the best of them because of the management and markets. They're gonna have to find a lot of diamonds in the rough with those picks to recover.

Well, the Celtics have finished 1st, 2nd and 4th in the East the past three sessions, winning between 49 and 55 games. So I'd say they've done pretty well. And they still have all their own picks plus incoming first rounders in 2020 from Memphis and Milwaukee. Those incoming picks are protected initially but then become unprotected. The Celtics also have some incoming 2nd rounders in the next few years.

I just wish we had a front office as effective and successful as the Celtics under Danny Ainge.

Yep.

But hey, they can sell the fanbase on The Promise of Hope. Because of getting Durant/Westbrook/Harden so early... OKC hasn't really been through that process yet.
