Oubre's been underwhelming as a scorer in his first several seasons, but I still like his potential on both ends of the court and I view him as a player that could out-produce his contract if he was in the right situation.

This would also make Andrew Wiggins even more expendable. I don't see him being on the roster come October.

Pretty much zero chance of that. Oubre is restricted and Suns will match any offer the Wolves are able to do. Its rumored whoever loses on Kawhi might also raise the offer well above what the Wolves could use with their MLE.

Cheick Diallo is the guy I want that we could afford and I'd definitely bring Tyus back.

As you might recall from one of my earlier posts, I've wanted to sign Diallo since before the free agency period started. But the acquisitions of Bell and Vonleh have made acquiring Diallo redundant. So I don't expect that to happen.

I don't think our chances of getting Oubre are zero, but I'd agree they're pretty slim. Phoenix would probably match a full MLE offer if we made one and I agree that one of the LA teams will likely pursue him after striking out on Kawhi. I think the only semi-realistic chance for the Wolves to get him would be a sign-and-trade. But I don't see a viable scenario.

Wolfson has said multiple times the Wolves have interest in Trey Lyles. He is now unrestricted and I wonder what the kind of money he would be looking for and what his market is. The wolves have a bunch of frontcourt options right now though...but other than Towns nobody is exactly locked in past this season. I mean Layman is with a 3 year deal but not locked into a large role. Lyles has always intrigued me to some extent. For the right price he would be worthwhile get and has a Towns and Canadian connection!!!! lol

You should only be alarmed if Derrick Williams or Anthony Randolph get a phone call.

Speaking of those types...last night in summer league Thomas Robinson had a block on an end of game 3 point attempt by Toronto's Chris Boucher.
