Again, I view it as an opportunity for KAT, DLO, and Ant to build chemistry together. If this Detroit team is so inferior, then go out and obliterate them in three quarters and rest in the 4th.

We'll see.

Q, can we expect a repeat performance from you tonight? Maybe touch on world hunger if you need some more material as the game goes on.

Heh, not tonight. I have another commitment that will prevent me from watching the game live.

....nice to see we're on page 2 of comments in a so-called meaningless game before it's even started though!

Such a great league, huh?

I do think the flattened odds have helped somewhat, and should continue to have an effect in the future. Still, I'd like to see other steps taken. I think we all came up with some good anti-tanking reform ideas in Pork's "crazy ideas" thread. You had the idea for the descending weight of games toward the lottery right? I liked that possibility. What did you think of the ideas for a blind cutoff or of a "lottery tourney?"

I don't think that was me Drew. Honestly I can't remember what I said in that thread. But I think you have to find a way to reward the teams at the bottom who play the best down the stretch. Worst record shouldn't matter at all anymore. Or how about this, if you finish in the bottom 4 of the league, you get relegated to the G league and have to work your way back in to the NBA. English soccer style.

Glad this wasn't in effect previously. The Timberwolves would be battling the likes of Augsburg and Macalester at this point...

Ant continues to look like a completely different player post All-Star break

Another dominating performance by the Wolves starters. As it should be.

McDaniels just smiled for the 1st time all year. With his 2 handed block on Tyler Cook. Haha

The Wolves have again handily beaten a bad team made worse by a depleted active roster. So I'm not going to get too excited about these two wins as a window into the future, but I'd be really concerned if the Wolves had lost or just barely one these two games. So I'm happy with what we've seen from this team since the coaching change and the return of DLO.

I haven't watched this one yet, but am about to watch the DVR replay. From the box score it appears that DLO's shooting was horrible. But I like his other stats - 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and a block. If he puts up those kind of numbers on his poor-shooting nights, I'll be fine with him. The box score also suggests that the DLO/Rubio pairing continues to be working.

Ya. DLO shot horribly but he just controlled the offense beautifully. Kat was great! I thought Ant was sort of a side character tonight be he was also really good. Rubio was great, personally thought one of his best games Okogie and Mcdaniels were great on D in their rotations.

You mentioned Finch. Jim P said a stat late in the 4th. Since Finch took over the Wolves are 2nd in the NBA in points per possessions out of a timeout, only behind Steve Nash and the Nets. I legit think we might have a top tier coach and I'm convinced we have at least a good one

It's funny to see Vando take rebounds away from Towns. I don't think KAT likes it very much. Most of the guys just defer to the big fella, but V8 goes after everything.

It won't be too long before Edwards becomes our best player. Yes, I'm serious.
