This is a solid choice as well. I think he ruined a lot of the good vibes and good feelings that people had about him after the trade.

Its all part of his elaborate plan to keep himself motivated proving people wrong and be the vilian on the court.

Can I change my vote? Spielman is the worst. The offensive line has been a problem forever and he can never solve it.

Vikes offensive line has actually been pretty solid ever since Cleveland slipped in at guard. Now we really just need another guard upgrade and, potentially even extend Reiff as he's been having a solid year as well.

We've been better with Cleveland, but it's only been 2-3 games right? The run blocking isn't terrible but the pass pro is. It's just not been at championship level for as long as I can remember. I can't even imagine what Adrian would have done with a decent line during the prime of his career.

I've complained about our OL as much as anyone I know, and I've long thought it was the Achilles heel of the team. I also agree with you on Adrian Peterson. That said, our pass protection has been solid the last 3-4 weeks since Ezra took over. To put this year in perspective, the Vikes are #16 in both pass blocking and #16 in run blocking as a unit this year, both just inside the top half of the league.

On the flip side, our pass rush is 29th in the NFL, and run stuffing dead last in the NFL (win rate).

As much as I agree with you that OL has been too often underperforming for the Vikings and not addressed well enough (though we have taken some swings), and our QB hasn't been elite in the Spielman era aside from a 1 year elite play by Favre, everything else Spielman has done (as a whole) has been pretty impressive. The Vikes have had one of the best winning %'s under Spielman's tenure of any team. Careful what you wish for if you're wishing him out.
