I don't think anyone else has mentioned it but there could be a slight benefit that Rubio and Juancho have a history playing together with the Spanish National team. With a roster of a lot of guys that haven't played much together eh...it's a little something.

And won a FIBA championship!

Nothing to be outraged about here. Good shooting stretch 4 that gets about 8 or 9 boards a game.

Also I love how we're back to the old "he'll be better with Rubio around" conversations. Good times.

Juancho's per 36 numbers last year for us were 16 and 9 on 42% 3-point shooting in 14 games starting. All of those numbers are career bests so we don't know yet if they are fool's gold, but he's only 25 and this was the first time in his career he has ever been given more than 20 MPG. And also Ricky Rubio makes his...well, you know.

Seems like a bargain to me.

Barring any unforeseen major additions, the Wolves will be starting two players that couldn't consistently get minutes for the Nuggets. That's both sad and interesting for different reasons. Nonetheless, the outlook of this team remains centered on Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell. If they play like the All-Stars that they are, then this team should at least be competitive. I expect the Wolves to be in a lot of close games next season in which they'll either get outcoached or out shot at the end.

Defense? Who? I never met her.

Yeah anything above bottom 5 defense in the league would be an achievement with the personnel we have.

Hernangomez 3 yr 21 million, I see it as a solid move for the expected production.

This roster sure is going to have to drain 3's with the defensive makeup. Should be fun to watch if they are completive but this sure does seem high risk to say the least.

I don't get your comment. I think everyone assumed we'd resign Juancho and those numbers are pretty much in the ballpark of what we'd have to pay.

It appears the roster at this point has pretty much taken shape. Rosas is basically pinning his hopes primarily on the moves he made last offseason along with his in-season moves to re-shape the roster. He's basically added Rubio and Edwards to the core team he put together last year.

That means lots of 3s, a fairly fast pace, and very little defense despite the best efforts of Rubio, Okogie, and Culver. I REALLY hope Vandy emerges as a force on that end, but that is pinning a lot on a pretty unproven player.

Ricky was World Cup MVP and the last five winners are Rubio, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Pau Gasol and Dirk Nowitzki. Pretty good company.
