LeBron did look like he was coasting a bit, but he's been selectively "picking his spots" for a couple years now. You simply can't play that many minutes in that many games at his age and not take some plays off. Yet he still puts up ridiculous numbers across the board. I think where things have let up the most is on the defensive side. He can still make big plays, but it's hard for him to stay dialed in on that side given all his other responsibilities and minutes.

Some of my favorite posters are still lamenting the possibility Butler will be gone soon. I continue to embrace it. Does a few extra wins really trump the damage Jimmy's done to this organization? Not even close in my mind. We aren't getting out of the first round with Jimmy here. He should be reviled, not appreciated. Keep in mind what we traded for the guy who demanded a trade after one injury riddled campaign. Keep in mind he is nearly solely responsible for the position we found ourselves in during training camp. I can't wait till he's gone no matter what the return is.

I lament the entire situation. He IS our best player. Had the chemistry worked between him, KAT, and whoever else may have had a problem with him (Wig?), I think we would have been poised to take another step forward this year. But obviously the opposite happened and we have no choice but to unload him. We won't be getting a better player back and will likely end up in the lottery again. The whole thing just sucks all the way around.

Some of us realize Jimmy being gone might mean last year was the last playoff berth we'll see for a while. That's not an exiciting propspect no matter how you look at it. I don't care about player feelings more than winning so I really don't care what Jimmy did. He's here to win us games and he does it at a high level not many guys can do. Getting rid of him means we're back to the lottery this year with no idea when we'll get back to the playoffs. Last time that happened it took 14 years to recover. So you should see it from our view that even though he's a huge ass hole, he's also been right about a lot of things that don't give this franchise a good outlook for life when he's gone and that could mean another large playoff drought that this franchise just won't survive.

People talk about Okogie's shot form looking good, but there is still something weird about it. I'm no shooting expert, but it almost feels like he has too much palm on the ball vs. having some space there so it comes off more as a push shot versus a fling off the fingertips. Either way, 35% from the field and 22% from 3 isn't going to get it done in the long run. That's gotta improve for him to be a legit rotation player.

I'm with you on Jimmy, he disgusts me and I want him gone. That being said I'm almost equally disgusted by Taylor in this situation making it hard for me to stay enthusiastic. That being said, I'm excited to see Wiggins and Okogie run together in long stints. Excited to see KAT take charge of this team. We'll get some sort of asset back, so yeah it will be easier for me to cheer with some enthusiasm again. I've just been watching these games with Jimmy in a daze.

Dane moore has said he thinks his shot looks smoother than it did in summer league and maybe in college. He still thinks the problem is the ball is kinda out in front of his nose. I think there is something to that take. On the other hand he looks comfortable shooting the ball and has no fear. It's one thing to have a guy with a shot that looks bad funky or whatever but it doesn't seem like when he shoots it he worries about whether or not it's gonna get there. A lot about shooting is confidence. The 85% from the FT line doesn't hurt either. I don't cringe when he takes a corner 3 even if he hasn't made them at a good percentage yet. I wonder what happens when people adjust to his ball fake and drive. Nobody seems prepared for it although to some extent I think he sells it pretty good. The footwork on the perimeter is pretty decent all things considered.

Jimmy professes to be all about winning but his actions suggest he's all about money. There is an element of phoniness to him. I can appreciate his considerable basketball skills while still not respecting the person. And I feel he's done more damage to the Wolves than good.
I'm going to be honest, for the first time in about 20 years I watched the Bucks over the Wolves last night. My Bucks loyalties precede the Wolves franchise even though I've become more of a Wolves fan over the years. When Jimmy's gone I will go back to watching the Wolves realizing we won't be as good. As Q said, the whole thing sucks.

More than an element of phoniness... he's basically a fraud.
A very talented basketball player... but a fraud nonetheless. Unfortunately, there's still a lot of people out there who dig him for his "badass alphaness" in this debacle.

I hope you weren't being literal when wanting to see Wig and Okogie "run" together!! I suggest you don't blink when watching them on the court together, because one blink and you're likely to miss Wig run. I believe the stat is, Wig runs around 5% of the time in the court. Again don't blind.
Disregard the above if you meant it more figuratively, and just want to see them on the court at the same time.
