He reminds me of gerald "crash" wallace but with guard skills. Smaller but more potential to be a better shooter. Wallace was non stop as well but he crashes too early and regress once he hit 30. Hopefully josh stay healthy and play smarter and has a better and longer peak than wallace.
Giles actually tries to help him but getting iOS hand in there on his shoulder sets before being part of the King's that fell away from the force of Okogie...Giles ended up stumbling around a poor camera man on the baseline. Lol speaking of Giles he had some nice moments.
Wiggins I always felt and still feels like he thinks too much. He needs to just go out and play. He seems to be doing something right lately I'm not positive what it is but I hope he keeps it up!
Haha. That was what makes the okogie dunk so fun to watch. There were 4 kings there and two of them at first looks like they were getting the hell out of the way of the poster and ended up stumbling over each other.
Then okogie had his thunderous two hand dunk but a scary looking yet safe landing. You see d rose in the background sitting on the floor didn't react much when the dunk happened but almost jump to his feet when okogie was hanging in the air and looks on his way to landing on his face,
But rose sit back when he saw okogie landed safely. As if he thought the worst was coming but got a relief when okogie landed safely that he sit back down. That was just a great sequence that extended to okogie's great block then dime to g for the dunk. One of the highlights if the team for the year.
Here is a tweet with the video. When I was watching the game I really didn't see this and what Jim Peterson was talking about exactly.

Thanks for the close up video monster. Cant get enough of it! Props to giles for trying to help okogie's landing but the force was too strong that he and the two other kings dudes were push away by the unseen force! Upon closer viewing, rose reaction might be more of in awe with his delayed WTH reaction.

One nice game from Tyus doesnt really erase how awful he's been so far this year. Now if Teague were traded for talent and Tyus was the primary backup, great.
I see your point about Tyus and about Teague as the better player right now. Doper. I just think the team plays better with Rose, Tyus and Okogie in the rotation instead of Teague - except in those games when Teague is shooting the lights out. But I haven't checked the relevant team stats, which might contradict my view. Ideally, we could trade Teague for good value in return.

The problem with teague is that he cant do 1 thing at an elite level or even at a consistent level. Everything is average to good but inconsistent with him.
I used to view teague at the same level as a conley, lowry, jrue and kemba. But all of them has pass him by because they got really good and consistent at something. Conley can drive and put up 20pts a game. Jrue can defend. Kemba and lowry have elite shooting abilities. Teague is solid at best at everything but not at the level where it impact the game in our favor. I think we are stuck with him for the rest of the season as our starting pg.
I prefer rose over him but thibs is not the coach to make a rotation change like that. He will stick with teague and we are either guaranteed to lose tyus next season or continue to have okogie ridinh the bench for the meantime. Only an injury or tyus traded can guarantee okogie regular minutes.

You hit the nail on the head with your analysis of Teague, World. And unfortunately you are probably right about what Thibodeau is like my to do.
Britt Robison was on a recent Dane Moore podcast and I thought their discussion was really spot on with the good and bad of Teague. I did think Britt was too hard on teague's defense this season but Britt is hard to please on that end so I'm not gonna quibble too much there.
Ultimately for me it comes down to a good problem to have. If you are upset because Teague is your starting PG it could be MUCH worse...think back to the post Sam Cassell days before the Wolves drafted 2 PGs. The Wolves now have 3 guys that are legit rotation PGs or can play at that spot. Okogie could easily be playing minutes. Someone that is playing well innone way or another would not be playing. Britt talked in the same podcast about how that 2nd unit has been flourishing. He makes an argument of why mess with it (He personally would start Saric). Tyus traditional numbers haven't been eye popping but he just seems to be making a positive effect out there in general. He needs to do more long term but he seems to be a positive. Dieng is similar although he tends to be more productive but part of that is him being a big. Britt has an interesting take on the big man rotation overall. I don't agree with everything Dane and his guys say or Britt for that matter but there was some good insight there.
I agree that the 2 pg thing has to go. Even Tyus said something to that regard in his post game interview.
I like teague and I think he'd be much better under coach. Even when he is playing poorly, hes been racking up a lot of assists and his ast/yo ratio is great, but those numbers give me pause.
He'll get 10 assists, but only a couple will be due to something he creates. If you dribble the ball for 20 seconds and then pass it off, your asts and ast/to ration can only look good because you dont turn the ball over and that player has to shoot.

Btw, teague is also out for the pistons game.
The funny thing is so many Wolves fans were saying Thibs needed to play the PGs together last year. Personally I don't have a problem with it a lot of the time.
One other thing about Teague is one thing he had going for him when he was signed over other players was how he stayed healthy. As a Timberwolf that's been a bit of a problem and it also seems like just when he and or the team gets rolling he is out for a few games. It's a bit of tough luck. This year we have better depth last year it took a couple games for Aaron Brooks to get warmed up to be a half decent replacement. This year we have Rose and Tyus plus it means Okogie plays!

Yeah, I think teagues durability was a strong selling point for thibs.
But I also think his general dislike for thibs (unhappiness) can make his injuries linger a little longer.

I think Teague wanting Tyus to get some run is a factor.
