I hear Greg Oden has already offered Patton a bigtime contract in his Segway basketball league. Don't tell Philly though.

It's not much but at least Thibs and Layden were willing to move on from Patton. It seems other teams have in the past stuck with guys too long at times because he was their guy etc. I'd guess they had a pretty good sense his value was more as an expiring in a Butler trade than anything else. I'm pretty sure though he will be their first call when free agency opens this summer! Lol
