Just to be clear I don't think there is a wrong answer especially if you pick Lebron. To me if you add any of these guys just as a FA addition you would have a heck of a team.

Would anyone pick Paul George?

I agree on Leonard. He's my 1 followed by Lebron.

Would have taken Leonard if was an option, but went with Greek Freak as you know he's only going to get better and fits the young core we have.

It's really tough not to have CP3 on this list as well. The guy would just be perfect for our team. He's unselfish. He's a leader and wouldn't let the young guys get away with their defensive lapses without hearing about it. He's only 31 and he's still one of the best PG's in the league. I also like Draymond on this team. We could use his fire and his skillset frankly fits this team perfectly. He covers up a ridiculous amount defensively and moves the ball offensively. All that being said though I took Durant lol. He's the best 2 way player in the game right now. Kawhi is a better defender, but KD is just vastly superior offensively and KD is a very good defender as well.

I also went KD, if Kawhi was a option it would be real close with James in third.

But Durant can play both forward positions, stretch the floor and is a damn good defender. Only thing that scares me is injuries so maybe I would of went kawhi

As much as I hate him, Draymond Green would be a great fit.

Long term (5 years) I'd want Green, Leonard, or the Freak. The freak doesn't shoot well but he is dynamic. He is the perfect 3/4 we need.

Short Term (2 years) LeBron of course.

I expect Durants injuries to pile up over the next 5 years.

- A big strong SF: Check
- A small ball PF: Check
- Veteran leadership: Quintuple Check
- Size and strength: Check
- Another ball handler: Check
- Defense: Check

LeBron will still be a good player 4 years from now and will increasingly play more and more PF.

LeBron is not anymore that good defender at least against top small forwards. That has been clearly visible in Indiana series where Paul George has been scoring at will whenever LeBron has tried to guard him.

If I could pick whatever player for Wolves team, I would go with Kawhi Leonard. He would have check in all those categories even tough he isn't same level ball handler than LeBron. He would have also still overlapping prime years with our core, which would mean Wolves could be contenders longer. Kawhi is also better three point shooter than LeBron and doesn't need ball in his hands to be effective, so we wouldn't necessarily need to trade Ricky right away.

Well, Leonard wasn't an option when Lip posted the poll, but yeah, I'd definitely pick him too because he's still reasonably young and is a two-way monster that can play SF and PF - not too dissimilar from LeBron in some ways.

As for LeBron's defense, it seems like something he can turn on when he needs to. Also, at his age and with the other responsibilities he carries, it doesn't surprise me that he doesn't expend all of his energy on that side of the floor. But he'd be a massive upgrade over anything we currently have.....
