Well, the bright side is that hopefully it yields better value on the trade market, once our pick is made. There is nothing bad about winning the coin flip, but I'm so jaded when it comes to the draft and what to expect from rookies. They basically suck unless given a very niche role on a team that already has a lot of really good 2-way players. Heck we're 2-3 years into KAT, Wig, and LaVine's career and we're still being told to be patient with them! I can't wait any longer!

Q, i know you want a raw rookie to add to this core. Don't deny it.

If his name is Zach Collins and he's our 3rd string Center and gets reps in the D-league, I'll bite.

But heaven help us if it's Tatum, Jackson, or Isaac and they help fill the void left by Bazz and Rush. They are going to get destroyed.

(unless the Spurs somehow get one of them....or Dallas....then they will turn into magic unicorns that shoot 40% from 3).

One of two things will happen:

1. The Wolves trade the pick and the player taken becomes an instant star.
2. The Wolves keep the pick and the player takes 4 years to become a reliable contributor.

Wolves life.
