Re: Game Report - Wolves v. Warriors
I think KAT could have been a lot more effective to close out the game had he not played the PnR so weird. He doesn't really move to the spots that would help out his ball handler. He seems to either want to roll hard to the hoop or jump back to the 3pt line rather than hanging in the pocket. I think he struggled in the 2nd half because he was forcing the offense without a real game plan of attack. There's a balance between playing what the defense gives you and knowing the move you are going to make to score the ball and he seemed to be on the wrong side of both in the second half leading to some sloppy play.

Thanks Lip for all that fun insight on being at the game.
The defense is just amazing. If teams get an open look it's some sort of scramble play or terrific ball movement. Guys just dot get up a lot of shots without someone contesting. Klay was terrific in finding the soft spots and quite honestly reminded me of a guy we have been watching the last chunk of games...Andrew Wiggins. Obviously they are different players to an extent but there were similarities in how they find spots in that midrange game.
Speaking of Wiggins even though he botched a few possessions late there were other times in the game he pretty much dribbled through the whole Warriors team and made it look really easy. Imagine what he might be able to do in 3 year when he is 25. Yikes

I was thinking the same thing, monster. Klay dribbling to a spot to get space to put up a shot, and it looked a lot like some of Wiggins' moves.
I just finished watching the game. Excellent win, fighting through adversity (some self-inflicted!) at the end.
I was humored as both Kerr and Curry seemed stunned that the clock would start on the tip. Do they know something everyone else in the world doesn't know?!?

Re: Game Report - Wolves v. Warriors
It was a great win. We saw a contrast where the 2 teams are at this time. One was a championship team that expects to get their way and whine and try to intimidate all game in the warriors. The other was an up and coming team that is fighting and clawing their way to earn respect in the wolves. The wolves earned the W last night.

I was thinking they were hoping to claim it was a poor toss on the tip.
