21 year old KG would have been 56X the defender of anyone on this team. Hell right now he is probably better than anyone on the roster not joking.

KG was in the playoffs when he was 20 so yeah I think he would probably get this team there.

I think it goes back to Cool's question. Is Pork talking about adding 3rd year KG to the existing mix or replacing one of our other guys with him?

If it's additive, I have to believe we would be locked into the 8th playoff spot, if not better. Add KG, Dieng subs in at Center, and we would probably have less Aldrich and Bjelly. Uh, yeah. That's probably good for another 5-10 wins.

If he's theoretically getting swapped out for someone, it gets a little murkier. Wig and KAT are definitely more advanced as pure scorers than KG was then (and perhaps ever was). But I have to believe KG was better defensively than either guy (albeit not quite at the height of his defensive powers quite yet).

Adding a 21 year old KG to the roster as our 15th guy puts us in the playoffs without question...maybe a 5th or 6th seed.

I'll go further. Adding a 27 year old KG to the roster puts us in the championship picture. Here's why I think that.

1) We're already a terrific offensive team, and adding KG's offensive smarts, passing ability and scoring would make us one of the best offensive team in the league.

2) This team struggles on defense, but our young guys were quite good defensively last year with a 40 year old KG by their side. Imagine how good they would be after adding the best defensive player in the league.

3) We all know this team lacks a veteran presence. KG's lead-by-example style would elevate everyone's game.

I would say yes. KG at 21 is 3x better than dieng. The defense will definitely improved. Kg was playing and defending sf when he was 21. He would be perfect defending the stretch 4 types we see now. Would compliment KAT and wiggins on offense.

How about 21 year old Garnett and 20 year old Marbury? We'd be champions. That was probably my favorite Wolves season.
