Gee, thanks Lip, I'm now 99% sure he'll be traded along with a couple decent assets.

Honestly I am surprised a team like the 76ers or Blazers wouldn't give him a shot. I just worry he will never have the motor and confidence to be a player for us.

"I don't see how a Bennett for Henderson trade makes sense for the Wolves. The wing positions are already crowded with Wiggins, LaVine, Shabazz, Martin, Prince and Bjelica."

I think Bjelica is expected to play primarily at power forward and we have more guys who can play PF than any other position. If we made the trade we'd be a more evenly distributed team. (see below) Plus, Henderson is considered a good defender and AB is considered one of the worst defenders in the NBA.

PG: Rubio, Miller, Jones
SG: Martin, LaVine, Henderson
SF: Wiggins, Muhammad, Prince
PF: KG, Towns, Bjelica
C: Pek, Dieng, Payne

I am pretty sure the 6ers want something for giving up their precious cap space and they like cheap talent and Bennett isn't that because to be sure to keep them they would have to pick up that option and that goes against what they have been doing. The Blazers might have interest especially with Triano on their staff but they have a slew of young bigs and may also want something for using up cap space too which I can't blame them.

I tend to think Flip still values Bennett (AP guy said Bennett is available for the right price...) to a certain extent and is willing to see what he has with him after this summer. I bet a few teams are watching to see how his international play goes as well.

I think the rumors of Bennett being available is a combination of some teams showing some interest and FIip telling them honestly that they are not sure what they have with him and they don't know if they have a good opportunity for him so they would listen to an offer. Flip may also tell them we don't have a long term PF locked up so we like to keep our options open and so Bennett does have value to the Wolves. That's my speculation.

At this point I am fine with holding on to Bennett but if we dump him for basically nothing I wont be sad either. If we do it would seem we would need another big to replace his roster spot. 5 bigs isn't enough considering the guys that occupy those spots.
