Not a fan of adding David Lee.

I actually don't mind seeing this roster out till the end of the season with maybe the addition of a 10 day contract to cover our injury ravaged big men.

Problem isn't the roster. It's the rotation.

It's both. We're thin at the PF/C position. Payne is barely rosterable let alone playable, Bjelica's been up and down and now hurt, Pekovic is chronically injured and likely done for the year, KG's 39-years old and hasn't played a game in weeks... We do need another big. That's actually why there were rumors that we were interested in Miles Plumlee. Right now, we just have nobody behind Towns and Dieng. That's a problem. Lee would absolutely help.

Dallas is the supposed frontrunner for David Lee. Also, OKC may be the frontrunner for Anderson Varejao

What's Jeff Adrien up to these days. Wolves could use a tank like him to protect Dieng's skinny ass.

I don't mind giving Payne heavier minutes. It will help the front office decide if they want to tender him, plus we aren't playing for the playoffs but rather ping pong balls. Also, Sam has been giving Rudez minutes that Belly was getting. Lets evaluate him playing more minutes too.

Instead of signing David Lee, I think signing Raphiael Putney or Vincent Hunter is a better option. Putney is scoring over 18 points in the d league with 2.6 blocks, 2.8 threes on 39% shooting and 9.2 rebound, 2 assists and a steal a game.

Putney can do it all. Here's a link to his DLeague page. http://dleague.nba.com/player/raphiael-putney/

Another big with great DLeague Stats is Vincent Hunter: 21.8 points, 11.3 Rebounds, 1.5 blocks, 1.0 steals and +7 a game Here's his DLeague Page: http://stats.nbadleague.com/player/#!/1626205/stats/?p=vincent-hunter

He does everything but shoot 3s. He's a more traditional big compared to Putney and he's only 21 years old.

DraftExpress described him as an energy guy who has exceptional athleticism and "multi-positional defensive potential". Hunter averaged 14.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists as a sophomore at UTEP last season and led the CUSA conference in PER, Rebounds, 2 Point Field Goals, and Defensive Rating.

David Lee was a pipe dream anyway but I've always been a fan of his. If we had an open roster spot Ineould probably be more interested in a younger player than adding a vet over 30. A big makes a lot of sense and if they are more of the girth type of guy that sounds even better.

I agree let's see Payne get a decent chunk of minutes especially if Belly is out for a while (they shouldn't rush him back) and yeah while Belly is out let Rudez have some minutes too. Sure he isn't some wonderful upside guy but he could continue to show he may be a solid 13-15th man that can hit shots and keep things moving on offense. If he does all those things and hits 3's at a higher clip maybe he has a tiny bit of positive trade value this offseason also. Don't get me wrong I'd be more excited to see some random d-league type get minutes though if that was an option.

Payne's garbage. We need to put someone better on the floor than him. We absolutely can find somebody better.
