As much as I like the spirit of this post, I'm with the majority that 39 wins are not in the cards...I needed a 4-0 run prior to the Cavs game to convince me that we were ready to play at that level, and that dream ended last night. Although I think the talent is still there to go on a 20-11 run, I see variables other than our raw talent that will more likely keep us closer to underachieving at .500 the rest of the season. And I'm disgusted with myself that I have once again lowered my expectations enough that I will spin some optimism out of what can only be framed as another lost season.

The Wolves haven't had a 20 - 11 run since the 2004 season.
[Note: To be fair, both the Red Sox and Cubs have won World Series since then! The Seahawks and Saints won the Super Bowl! There's hope!!!]
